Our lesson for today is about Diphthongs.


Diphthongs are glided vowel sounds that combine
two individual sounds with in a single syllable.
There are many diphthongs like ow, ou,or,/ɪͻ/
and /Ͻɪ/.

But today we will be focusing our lesson with the


diphthongs /ɪͻ/ and /Ͻɪ/. I have a short video clip.
Listen carefully.

Now I will group you into five. You will look around
and list 5 words each that contain the /ɪͻ/ and /Ͻɪ/
sounds.
