CPM Network & Critical Path Tutorial

This document provides instructions for two tutorial exercises on calculating the critical path for projects using the Critical Path Method (CPM). For each problem, students are asked to: 1) construct an activity arrow network and precedence diagram based on provided activity descriptions and durations, 2) determine the early start (ES), early finish (EF), late start (LS), late finish (LF), and float/slack for each activity, and 3) summarize the results in a matrix format including identifying the critical and non-critical paths. Problem A provides one set of 10 project activities and Problem B provides a second set of 11 project activities for analysis using CPM.
