Shooting 3D > Binning > Assign generic spread
New option to choose the number of rear and/or front lines.

Shooting 3D > Binning > Assign generic spread

Bug fixing: With the assignment of rear and front lines option, when the shot point was
situated at the front part of the last receiver line, one receiver line was missing in the
spread.
8. New in 5.0.3.75 version versus the 5.0.3.74 version - June 12 2014

Shooting 3D > Binning > Assign generic spread
New option to choose the receiver lines which contribute to the spread.

Swath lines (Default): All receiver lines of source swath contribute to the spread
If the generic spread contains N lines:
Rear lines: The program chooses N lines, limited in the swath, backward the source point.
Front lines: The program chooses N lines, limited in the swath, forward the source point.
With these two last options, the receiver lines numbering must be coherent with the
receiver grid.

status or if his seismic set equal to KL.

 All modules
Select > From file option
When the chosen file format contains several items of the same type (example two items of
line type such as Seis_Line_Name and SPSX_Receiver_Line),
The first item of this type is used to compare with the input data.
For instance, you can use the SPS_X_in file format to select the source points defined in the

20. New in 5.0.3.53 version versus the 5.0.3.50 version

 Shooting module
Data > To recorder and Data > From recorder
In the case of the UNITE system and Cable system are used in the same time, the specific
behavior concerning the killed UNITE receivers must not be applied to the killed Cable
receivers.
To do that, the UNITE receiver sets must be defined with the “Station unite” equal to the
“RAU” string. This is available from the version 5.0.3.52

 Bug fixing.
Import module (Data > Fast load option + processing number computation)
With the version 5.0.3.50, when the “Compute processing number” toggle button was set
while importing data with the Fast load option, the computation of the processing number
was not correct. This is fixed from the version 5.0.3.52.

Geoland 5.0.3.78 release notes

 Bug fixing.
Export module (Data > Export option)
In the case of exporting with "Coordinate & spread", "Valid & theoretic" and "One file
per swath" options.
The shot date in source file, was randomly set the null value.
This problem is already fixed in the 5.0.3.48 version.
Remark: This bug did not exist in the case of exporting final files.

Shooting module (Data > From Trace control option)

When you use this option, a spreadsheet “From QC trace” is displayed.

This new option allows you to display statistics according to a user defined selection of
keys and operators on attributes.

 Import module
 Data > To XPS option
A new choice has been added to sort the spreads by shot date or by the
recorder/tape/record key.
If the Date item is defined in the XPS scatter format, the columns Day (Julian day) and
Hour (HH:MM:SS:mmm) are created in the XPS scatter.
For the sources, the date is the shot date. For the receivers, the date is the date of first use.
The new file format NAVP2_UPHOLE_WATER_DATE_out has been created to do
that.

- In the SPS files, the “H10 Clock time w.r.t. GMT” header value is set to the
Computer GMT time shift value.
This value is in agreement with the exported dates (dates in computer local time) in the
SPS file data.
- While exporting the SPS files, when the shooting date is the same for several shots, a
second sort is made using the record number.

 Import module
New method to compute the processing numbers using a linear formula.
This is implemented in:
Data > Fast load > Define processing > Formula method option

After the first Geoland installation, the “AdmBaseCreate” script is used to create a GDBS instance
GELA10G (GELA10G is the default. The administrator is allowed to choice another name)

27. Geoland and the processing centers.

There is a standard way to work with Geoland in the processing centers which use the CGG
Geocluster or geovation softwares.
To carry out that, see the “5.3 Geoland Installation Specific to Seismic Processing
Centers” section of the Installation and Administration guide.
Note that you can choose the remote mode or the Client / Oracle server mode.

Three icons to be used in Geodesk of geovation software have been created.
