Consignment Process Part 1

The new consignment process flow has the following steps: 1. Check parts requirements with the end user and check availability at the own warehouse. 2. If not available, check with the on-site consignment warehouse. 3. If available at the consignment warehouse, withdraw the parts and have the site issue a purchase order to replenish the withdrawn parts over a period of time. 4. If parts are not available, prepare a purchase requisition and have the supplier replenish the non-stock consigned parts.

If other parts are not available,


Consignment prepare Purchase requisition
On-site Whse.
On-Stock, prepare Issue Slip and
deliver to Enduser

If available, effect the On-site


Parts withdrawal ( Site to issue
P.O. for withdrawn parts on a Make a memo letter from end
period of time. user addressed to consignment
whse indicating all parts not
available during the time of
withdrawal.

Supplier to replenish non-stock


consigned parts
Note:
1. No more PR preparation for all consignment parts.
2. All parts not available during the time of withdrawal should be addressed to Consignment warehouse.
3. No more follow up in NAC Purchasing head office for stock transfer.
4. Provide NAC purchasing a COPY of the memo letter that was sent to consignment warehouse by the end user.
