Jathiswaram

Jathiswaram is a composition very much like the swarajathi in the point of musical structure, but has no sahitya .
Pallavi is followed by two or three charanas. After each charana pallavi is repeated.It is a composition
belonging to the realm of dance music. It is also known by the word ‘swara-pallavi’. Due to the number of Jathis in Swara Pallavi, it is
known as Jathiswaram.
