Selected Projects
• Stock Market Analysis: (Data Mining. Visualization. Pattern Recognition) Analyzing stock price variations
incidental to internet trends. Interesting insights were drawn on the growth/decline of the company stock value with reference
to keywords over the internet traffic.
• Adaptive Quiz: (Clustering. Behavioral Analysis) Quiz that varies the difficulty level based on the progress of the user.
Built as a module for an Adaptive Learning Management System the difficuly level of the quiz would increase or decrease
based on the solutions provided by the user.
• Disease Detection using Leaf : (Image Segmentation. Active Contours. Classification) The tool aimed at identifying
whether a plant suffers from any disease just by looking at it’s leaf. Morphological active contours were used to achieve
segmentation from the noisy background. Features where extracted using SIFT and SURF after detecting the keypoints. These
vectors were aggregated and passed onto a classifier for classification.
• Transferred Fusion Learning Using Skipped Networks: (Deep Learning, Tensorflow, Image Classification,
Transfer Learning) Combining two pre-trained models to create a hybrid model. The idea here is that when we connect two
models using skipped connections between layers of different models, each model can learn from the data as well as from each
other. The model could achieve accuracies comparable to the state-of-the-art techniques on CIFAR-100, CIFAR-10 datasets.
• Virtual Makeup Expert: (Image Processing. Convolutional Neural Network. Recommender System.
Collabarative Filtering) Model that helps in application of foundation, lipstick and other cosmetics accurately on a facial
image of the subject. The model uses custom designed neural networks to identify facial features and analysis skin tone to
apply the required makeup on the face.
• Skin Tone Detection: (Image Processing. Computer Vision. Color Correction.) The tool aimed to replicate the
expensive spectrophotometer and detect the skin tone of an individual. The face is detected from the image using dlib and color
on the images are converted to its true colors by applying colour correction algorithms like retinex, von kries on the images.
• Beauty Advisor Chat Bot: (Data Mining. Morphology. Sentence Planning. Text Realization.) Bot built to
deliver information about cosmetic products for an US based MNC. The bot used RasaNLU to understand the intents and
entities and the modules around it fetched the data from the elasticsearch database. RestAPI was built around it to both fetch
the data from the database and deliver the message to the application. The UI was built on swift for IOS and android studio
for android.

Technical Skills
• Languages: Python, C, C++, R.
• Tools/Frameworks: Git, Flask, Keras, Tensorflow, NLTK, OpenCV, MySQL, LATEX, MongoDB.

Others
• Finalist at Open Innovation Hackathon jointly conducted by University of California, Berkeley and Government of
Andhra Pradesh held at KL University, Andhra Pradesh.

• Reviewed papers for Machine Vision and Applications, a scientific journal published by Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
• Received “M.R. Doreswamy Scholarship” and “Distinction Award” during all semester at PES University.
