User Manual
LOG IN

After downloading and installing the terminal from the Google Play store you will see the Metatrader 4 icon added to
your app list. Tap the Metatrader 4 icon to launch the terminal. Once the app has finished loading you will be
presented with two options, you can either log in to an existing account or open a free demonstrational account.

To log in to an existing account select the appropriate option from the menu, on the next page you will need to type
our company name in to the search field, please enter “Admiral” and press search.

The search results will contain descriptions of both demo and real trading servers. Please select a server according
to your account by tapping the server name, your log in information can be entered on the next page. Please fill in
your account number and password, please select save password if you would like your password saved in the
application. Enabling this feature will log you in to your account automatically every time the app is launched.
MENU

Pressing the menu button while in Metatrader 4 for Android will bring up the following menu options:

New order – Opens the new order dialog.

Symbols – Allows you to rearrange the order of instruments, also allows you to add
instruments via the blue “+” icon in the top right and remove instruments via the
“recycle bin” icon in the top right.

Settings – Allows changes to the quotes, charts and notifications.

Accounts – Displays the accounts linked to your app and the current connection
information. To add an account press the blue “+” icon in the top right, to delete an
account long press on the account name and select delete from the opened menu.

About – Displays the build number of your app, legal information and a link to the
license agreement.
QUOTES

After having logged in to your account you will be taken to the quotes section. By default you will only see a few
instruments. To add additional instruments press the menu button on your phone and select Symbols from the
opened menu, this will take you to the Selected symbols page, pressing the blue “+” icon in the top right will take
you to the Add symbol page.

On the Add symbol page you will see different instruments categorized and organized in folders, selecting a folder
will list its contents and also give the option to add individual instruments to your quotes board, please tap an
instrument to have it added. Once you have added the instruments you are interested in from one folder press the
back button on your phone to return to the instruments folder selection, pressing the back button again will return
you to the quotes board. To switch between different ways of presenting the quote board, press the menu button
on your phone and select Settings, tick or un-tick Advanced mode to toggle different quote board representations.

To rearrange the order instruments are displayed in the quote board, press the menu button on your phone and
select Symbols, on the next page you will be able to rearrange the instruments to your preference by dragging the
instruments using the “ ” icon next to the instrument name. On the same page you will be able to remove and/or
add instruments to the quote board, please use the respective “+” and “recycle bin” icons in the top right to
accomplish this. When done, press the back button to return.
CHART

To change the periodicity of the chart, click the


“clock” icon in the bottom row and select a
periodicity from the drop down menu. Double
tapping the chart will bring up a pop up box
with options to either open a trade or
add/modify/remove the displayed indicators.

Selecting Indicators will take you to the Indicators page, here; you will be able to add indicators to the main price
movement window and to the additional indicators window. To add an indicator, press the gray “+” icon and choose
an indicator from the categorized list. Once you have selected an instrument you will be able to set additional
indicator properties on the next page. Once done, press the Done button in the bottom right to be returned to the
Chart window. To remove or edit an indicator, navigate to the Indicators window and long press on the indicator
you would like to edit or remove, please choose an appropriate option form the opened menu.
To bring up the trade dialog box double tap the chart and select New order from the opened menu. On the next
page please enter the desired volume, instrument and order type. Press the Next button in the bottom once you
have selected the order volume, order type and instrument. The next page will have the option of setting Stop Loss
and Take Profit values as well as setting a maximum deviation from your selected price; the value is presented in
pips. Once all values have been set you can confirm and submit your order by selecting either Sell or Buy in the
lower part of the screen.

A message indicating the status of your order will be shown after the
order has been submitted.
TRADE

Tapping the Trade icon top tab of the terminal will take you to your active and
pending trades, an account summary is also displayed. Tap the any working or
pending order to view its details and additional information.

A long press on a working or pending trade will bring up the following options;

Close – Opens the order close dialog

Modify – Opens the order modify dialog

Trade – Opens a new order dialog

Cancel – Closes the pop up menu


HISTORY

The history section will allow you to review your


past trades, you are able to select to view your
trades for the current Day, the current Week or
the current Month using “clock” button on the
top right. To select a custom period tap
Custom, enter your desired timeframe and
press OK.
SETTINGS

The settings page will list options for your Quotes, Charts and Messages. The
quotes section will enable you to toggle the way quotes are displayed. The charts
section has options to switch between various chart styles and ways information is
presented. The messages section will show configurable message and notification
options.
