Role of HR in TQM

Human resource management plays an important role in implementing total quality management. Total quality management aims to continuously improve customer satisfaction through optimization and integration of all business functions and processes. For total quality management to be effective, it requires a participative and systematic approach focused on exceeding customer expectations, identifying and solving problems, and promoting open decision making among workers. The human resources department must work to build commitment to quality improvement and understanding of total quality management principles from employees. The goal of this study is to examine the challenges, role, and responsibilities of the human resources department in implementing a total quality management system within an organization.

INTRODUCTION FOR THE STUDY
The introduction of role of hr in total quality management has
played an important role in the development of contemporary
management .total quality management is the optimization
and integration of all the function and process of business in
order to provide for excited customer through a process of
continuous improvement. Total quality is defined as a people
focused management system that aims at continual increases in
customer satisfaction human resource management is one of
the most essential responsibilities of each and every manager in
an organization. It purely involve people for get things done
through them in an organized manner. Human resources
management is the planning, organizing , controlling, and
directing. The management interest in quality is not new but
using quality as a key element in the battle for competitive
advantages is of recent date.

NEED OF TOTAL QUALITY MANGEMENT IN HR


Need of total quality management in hr is a participative,
systematic approach to planning and implementing a constant
organizational improvement process, its approach is focused on
exceeding customers expectation, identifying problem ,building
commitment and promoting open decision making among
workers . The total quality management is needs to study the
commitment and understanding from employees and also the
quality improvement culture needs to study total quality
management is important in hr.

OBJECTIVE OF STUDY TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN

The overall aim is to study the challenges role and aspect
of the human resources department tasks in regard to an
implementation of total quality management in an
organization.
To understand the recruitment procedure adopted by the
Indian companies.
To understand the hr policies and practices
SCOPE OF THE STUDY
The scope of the research is very vast however the total
time period available was very limited for the purpose of
the study observation, analysis and conclusion .second
important thing is on account of ethical and moral
obligation of a manger disclosure of all pertained and
particular policies has got limitation positional
accountability and responsibility.
PERIOD OF THE STUDY
35-45 Days
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
In order to cope up with the emerging challenges due to
tough global competitions, the way out for this is to
produce quality products at reasonable prices. This is
possible only through an organization culture of quality
consciousness and enhanced productivity. That’s why
proper introduction of an employee is very important.
LIMITATION
The time limit to complete the project was less there are
lot of difference between author of same subject.
All data collection is based on books,internal employees
of different –different companies.
The information provided by the companies is not very
specified and clear in order to analyze the statement is.
The basic nature of these statement is historical and past
can never be precise most of the employee are not ready
to share information.
