COUNTER-AFFIDAVIT
I, Alexander Coleman, of legal age, single and a resident of Blk 11, Lot 20, Bombastik Home, Kidapawan
City, Philippines after having been duly sworn to in accordance with the law depose and say:
1. That I am the same person who is charged with the crime of RAPE in Criminal Case No. 67890 pending
before the Regional Trial Court Branch 5-Kidapawan City;
2. That the Affidavit of Complaint of Elizabeth Beckett dated January 13, 2015 is strongly denied. The
truth of the matter are as follows: That around eight (8) o’clock in the morning more or less, me and other
friends were having a drinking spree in my residence. Due to drunkenness I fell heavily asleep; that it is
physically impossible for me to commit the crime charged due to the intoxication of liquor in that morning;
that there was also no medical certificate shown by the complainant to attest the truthfulness of her
complaint; and that there were many people in the said residence where the alleged rape was committed;
3. That the allegations stated in the Affidavit of Complaint are mere malicious fabrications by the
complainant which may have been spurred by the biter enmity harbored by a member of her family arising
from a dispute that involved both of me and her father a year ago;
4. That I am executing this Counter-Affidavit for the purpose of attesting to the truthfulness of the
foregoing statements, to inform the proper authorities of the above facts, to support my prayer for the
dropping or dismissal of the instant case against me and for whatever purpose this may serve best.
IN WINTNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this 1st day of October, 2015 at Kidapawan City,
