Relaxed Meets
REFINED
Anjali travels the world seeking inspiration
in every window, gallery and market she
encounters, from the souks of Morocco to
Paris’s Champs Éylsées.
From breezy blouses and fluttering frocks to jaunty jackets
and crisp capes, the collection is both relaxed, and elegant.
Pared-down styling and couture detail makes the collection
just as versatile to wear in the Hamptons as it is tucked into
pencil pants and a heel for a lunch appointment in the city.

rich, ultra-modern take on statement-making
black pieces. Metallic thread embellishments are
combined with rich textures and sparkly beadwork,
for your perfect red-carpet look.

The
RUNGOLEE STORY

Rungolee founder and designer Anjali

Kamra grew up among a kaleidoscope of
color and culture in Calcutta, India.

As a young girl, she used her mother’s sewing

machine to make clothes from vintage sarees and any
scrap fabric she could get her hands on. She dreamt
of creating her own collection one day.

Moving to New York with her husband gave Anjali the

chance to realize her dream. She attended FIT and
earned her fashion degree.

Anjali launched Rungolee in 2007. She named the line

after the Indian folk-art “Rangoli”-intricate geometric
patterns painted on a courtyard floor or front door.
Stemming from the word “rang” which means color, it
is a celebration of pattern, color and individuality.

Since the first collection, Rungolee has set a new

standard for global chic couture. With direct
connections to the finest couture artisans on the
Indian subcontinent, Rungolee employs some of
the most talented beaders, weavers, sewers and
designers.

Today, Anjali travels the world seeking inspiration in

every window, gallery and market she encounters,
from the souks of Morocco to Paris’ Champs Elysees.
