This document describes the design and fabrication of a bladeless windmill. It begins by discussing the need for alternative energy sources in India and introduces the working principle of the bladeless windmill, which generates electricity through vortex-induced vibrations of a rigid mast rather than blades. It then identifies problems with conventional windmills and outlines the methodology, including problem identification, working principle, component selection, and scope. Key components of the bladeless windmill include a mast, spring, crankshaft, and alternator to convert vibrational energy into electrical energy.

3. Methodology

Methodology is the basic requirement for a project,

because it defines the proper start and end condition of
the works to be done. Proper planning and execution of
the workflow decides the successful completion of the

the wind strikes the column mast to vibrate. This

When they are strong enough to overcome the internal SPRING
