Introduction Dear CLAAS customer
This service booklet explains all the important checks and
maintenance tasks required to ensure a long and reliable
service from your machine.
The service booklet consists of:
1. Delivery advice
2. Pre-Delivery inspection
3. Delivery to the customer
4. Services
5. Warranty
On delivery of the machine please ensure that the
“Delivery advice” and the “Delivery to the customer” are
completed and understood and that they have been signed.
Pre-Delivery Inspection
All maintenance items listed below shall be checked and Drives / Axles / Wheels

thus resulting in the best performance, reliability and safety
of the equipment.
In order to secure your warranty, during the machine’s
warranty period, all service and maintenance work must
be carried out by an authorised CLAAS dealership. Please
notice the service intervals specified in the Operator’s
Manual.
Only original CLAAS parts, accessories and additional
equipment are to be used. Parts non-approved by CLAAS
can detract from the functional performance, with a
possible adverse effect on the operational safety and on the
occupational safety standards of the machine.
CLAAS will in no way be liable for any damage or personal
injury caused through the use of non-original CLAAS parts
or equipment or through the use of parts or additional
equipment non-approved by CLAAS.

Warranty
Warranty
Duty of warranty is held by contract between the dealer
and the customer. CLAAS dealership warranty is covered
by CLAAS. Please consult your CLAAS dealership on any
warranty claims or queries.
The warranty will only be validated, if the delivery advice
form was completed and signed by the customer and sent
to the dealership without delay.
