Evolving Items

This document describes a system for magic items in a RPG that evolve over time based on a character's level. Items are divided into 5 tiers that determine the rarity and number of special properties an item can have. As a character increases in level, they can access higher tiers and upgrade their item's properties. Requirements like defeating enemies or completing quests are suggested for allowing an item to evolve to the next tier beyond just reaching a level threshold. Tables provide details on the properties available at each tier and their rarities.
