POSTPONEMENT OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE ENGLISH
PROFICIENCY TEST (EPT) FOR TEACHER 1 APPLICANTS
To : All Public and Private Elementary and Secondary School Heads
All Concerned SK Teacher 1 Applicants
This Division
1. Relative to the DepEd Memorandum No. 106 s, 2019 and Division Memorandum No. 202,
s. 2019 entitled “English Proficiency Test (EPT) for Teacher Applicants Nationwide”, please be
informed that the EPT administration on October 27, 2019 at Kalawag Central School, Kalawag
I, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat is hereby postponed.
2. The postponement is based on the memorandum (DM-CI-2019 00310) released by the
Office of the Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction due to the confirmed leakage of the
actual test items in social media. Hence, the field testing personnel are reminded to review the
test administration procedure in compliance to Section 13 of DepEd Order No. 55, s. 2016 also
known as “Breach of Security in National Examinations and Corresponding Sanctions”.
3. Another memorandum shall be issued for the new schedule of test administration.
Henceforth, submission of the application form with the Transcript of Records (TOR) will be
extended until October 11, 2019 to the Records Section, Division Office, Kenram, Isulan, Sultan
Kudarat.
4. Immediate and widest dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.

ADMINISTRATION OF THE ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST
FOR TEACHER APPLICANTS NATIONWIDE
To : All Public and Private Elementary and Secondary School Heads
All Concerned SK Teacher Applicants

2. Pursuant to the Department of Education (DepEd) Memorandum No. 106 s, 2019 dated
August 30, 2019 through the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA), this division, shall
administer the English Proficiency Test (EPT) for Teacher Applicants in Sultan Kudarat on
October 27, 2019, 7:30 AM at Kalawag Central School, Kalawag I, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
3. The following are qualified to take the 2019 EPT:
a. Teacher-applicants who passed the RQA 1 or 2 but do not have the plantilla item prior
to the scheduled date of exam; and
b. Passer and non-LET passer BSEd/ BEED or any related 4-year course graduate who wish
to apply for a teaching position in DepEd.
3. Each examinee shall be allowed to take the test only once regardless of the number of plantilla
positions and schools division the applicant is applying for. The result of the EPT shall be valid
for two years from the time of the test administration.
4. All applicants who wish to take the EPT shall submit an application form (please see attached
template) with the Transcript of Records (TOR) for inclusion to the list of examinees on or before
October 4, 2019 to the Records Section, Division Office, Kenram, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
5. Immediate and widest dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
