Project Title: Travel Portal Flight Booking Quote (Duration: November 2017 to February 2018)
The client required to create quotes process is triggered by an Excel spreadsheet of customer quote requests from
the travel portal. The requests are allocated to the advisors who key them into the quote system and then either
email the quote details to the customer or contact the customer when a quote can’t be generated e.g. invalid dates,
invalid routes etc. The cases are being worked in turn and an email quote response forwarded to the customer. For
exception cases where a quote can't be generated an exception file is being created for manual review. This file will
be created at the end of the process.

Project Title: Automate the ERP System (Duration: Feb 2017 to August 2017)
The client has their own an ERP system. Automation responsible for creating quote and orders by web-based ERP
system and preparing list of orders to be created. ROBO will automatically fetch all details and release orders with
an email intimation. The positive impact on order flow due to an elimination of manual steps and process
standardization. 3%-4% increase in ordering accuracy due to RPA implementation leading to the elimination of
manual touch points.

Project Name: Global Financial Planning & Accounting
Tools Used: Informatica Power Center 8.1, Toad 8.1, Cognos Powerplay Transformers

Description:
The project is to automate the Expense & Revenue dashboard manual task performed by the end user. ETL
team receives the data for the month in the form of Oracle GL tables. As per the business logic, data would be
transformed and loaded in DWH for reporting purpose. The final Cognos reporting dashboard will show the
data Expense line wise amount (in millions) and Revenue (in millions).
Objective of the project is to automate the Expense & Revenue Dashboard by using ETL tool Informatica
PowerCenter 8.6.1 and MOLAP Tool Cognos.
Various sources involved in the project are Flat Files (Monthly Accruals, IT Software, and Content Solutions)
automated views (Oracle Invoice and Performa Status).
Star Modeling data warehousing technique is used to build model involving 4 Facts and 8 dimensions (COE,
Location, Month, Expense Line, Cost Center, Legal Entity, Product, Customer).
Data is loaded into the staging area by extracting from the various sources using ETL tool and the
transformation rules and business formulae's are applied and data is finally loaded into the fact tables which is
used for reporting purpose.
Row level security is provided based upon the unique oracle user ID to access Cognos reports.
Role:
 Design of processes to extract, transform and load data from different file source systems via Informatica
mappings into the data warehouse.
 Creating Mapping, Mapplets, Workflows and Worklets as per the business requirement.
 Scheduling of Informatica Mappings for daily/weekly load.
 Performing extensive testing on the mappings and wrote queries in SQL to check if the data was loading
to the dimension tables and fact tables properly.
 Creating sessions, reusable worklets in workflow manager and scheduled the sessions to run at a specified
frequency and using session logs to debug sessions.

Genpact corporate finance is the controller body that handles all budgeting and planning activities across
different CoE’s. Worked with Cognos (IBM) team during entire migration of Genpact financials from Oracle
Financial Analyzer to Cognos 8.1 Planning Model. The model works for Actual financials and the other for
planning activities.
 Interacting with business users across all location and providing un-interrupted support.
 Monthly Process wise cost allocation across different CoE’s
 Ensuring data integrity and quality standards are met as per defined standards.
 Budget Planning exercise for Op-09 and Op-10 using COGNOS Planning 8.4.
 Setting up process – Historizing the data from all COGNOS applications and integration to COGNOS BI
reporting using Framework manager and Report studio.
