Excavation for foundation in all kinds of soil,dry or wet hard or soft, including
backfilling of excavated earth in plinth and under floors i/c breaking clods,dressing
watering and consolidating by ramming in layers not exceeding 8" depth to obtain
250.0 m3
95% modified AASHTO density including lifing, shifting or as per instruction and
specification of the consultant and approval of client (site Engineer ).Contractor will
carryout compaction test as per specification with out any extra cost.
2.0 PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE
Providing and laying Plain cement concrete of specified strength using approved
quality 3/4" max. size graded crushed aggregate & fine aggregate including
approved Steel formwork & its removal, all operations of vibrating, levelling,
compacting and curing etc. complete as per specification & instruction of the
Consultant. .
Note:
1. SR cement should be used for all works.
2. Mix design for each type of sample will be
provided by the Contractor
PCC 1:4:8 (1 cement 4 sand and 8 coarse aggragate) 4.0 m3
3.0 REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE
Providing and laying Reinforced cement concrete shall be developed 28 days
cylinderical strength of 4000psi, using approved quality 3/4" max. size graded
crushed aggregate & fine aggregate including mixing, transporting,placing in
position in steel formwork & its removal, all operations of vibrating, levelling,
compacting and curing etc complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement but
including the cost of concrete admixture as per specification & instruction of the
Consultant.
Note:
1. Mix design for each type of sample will be provided by the Contractor.
RCC 4000 psi cylinderical strength 37.0 m3
4.0 STEEL REINFORCEMENT
Providing and laying (min yield strength 60,000 psi) steel reinforcement bars
including the cost of straightening, cutting, bending, binding, wastage and such
overlaps that are not shown in drawings, placing in position on cement concrete
1:2:4 precast spacer block or m.s chairs,tying with binding wire (GI wire of 18
guage), including cost of chairs and wires etc in all kinds of RCC works.Complete in
all respect to the approval of Engineer.
Deformed Steel 3.5 Ton
5.0 SAND FILLING
Filling of sand and consolidating by ramming in layers not exceeding 150mm thick
layers to obtain 95% modified AASHTO density.The infilling material with in the RCC
ring wall shall be coarse sand from approved source with maximum aggregate size
280.0 m3
not exceeding 10mm and according to specification, including all lead and lift and
carrying out field density tests,modified proctor tests as per instructions and
specifications of the Consultant and approval of Client (Site Engineer).
6.0 BITUMINOUS SAND MIX COMPOUND
Providing and laying 75mm thick bituminious sand mix compound below the bottom
130.0 m2
plate of tank as per drawings , specification and instructions of site Engineer. .

7.0 BITUMEN COATING
Providing & Laying two coats of PB4 Hot Bitumen or approved make imported water
proof chemical inside and outside foundation upto finished ground level & sides of

and specification and as directed by the Engineer Incharge.

1.0 EARTH WORKS
1.1 EXCAVATION
Excavation in all kinds of soil, dry or wet, hard or soft, including all operation.
Complete with breaking clods, levelling, dressing, dewatering, shoring &
compacting, including lifting, shifting or disposing of surplus earth outside the 1105.0 m3
premises or as per instruction and specification of the Consultant and approval of
Client (Site Engineer).
1.2 SAND FILLING
Filling of sand and consolidating by ramming in layers not exceeding 150mm thick
layers to obtain 98% modified AASHTO density.The infilling material with in the
mound shall be coarse sand from approved source with maximum aggregate size
1074.0 m3
not exceeding 10mm and according to specification, including all lead and lift and
carrying out field density tests,modified proctor tests as per instructions and
specifications of the Consultant and approval of Client (Site Engineer).
1.3 EARTH FILLING
Filling natural earth and consolidating by ramming in layers not exceeding 150mm
thick layers to obtain 90% modified AASHTO density.The filling material should be
well graded sand free from fines ideally lying in AASHTO or A-3 category including
1600.0 m3
all lead and lift and carrying out field density tests,modified proctor tests and CBR
test as per instructions and specifications of the Consultant and approval of Client
(Site Engineer).
2.0 PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE
Providing and laying Plain cement concrete of specified strength using approved
quality 3/4" max. size graded crushed aggregate & fine aggregate including
approved Steel formwork & its removal, all operations of vibrating, levelling,
compacting and curing etc. complete as per specification & instruction of the
Consultant. .
