1. Tell me about yourself.


Ans: I am Santosh Kumar Choudhury, presently working for a real estate company
last 3 year 6 months onwards. I have been working as an Electrical Site Engineer to
the Assistant Manager for just over 9 years 3 months.

2. Why do you want to work at our company?


Ans: Ma’am, It is a great privilege for anyone to work in a reputed company like
yours. When I read about your company I found that my skills are matching your
requirements. Where I can showcase my technical skills to contribute to the
company growth.

3. Why do you want to resign from your previous job?


Ans: I had been with the organization for a number of years and wanted to
experience a new environment to continue growing.

4. Why should I hire you?


Ans: Honestly, I possess all the skills and experience that you’re looking for. I’m
pretty confident that I am the best candidate for this job role. I am a self-motivated
person and I try to exceed my superior’s expectations with high-quality work.

5. What are your strengths and weaknesses?


Ans: I have the ability to work effectively with different kinds of people. Hence, I
would say that organizational skills are one of the strongest points about my
strength.
My weaknesses is I believe everyone quickly.
6. What is the difference between hard work and smart work?
Ans: I think that smart work and hard work together make a genius. My current
General Manager would definitely say that I am a hard worker. Besides, once I pick
up a new skill, I am quick to apply it to get quicker results, which kind of makes me
a smart worker too! In my point of view hard work is better than smart work,
because hard work never fails but sometime smart work fails.

7. Are you a risk taker or do you like to stay away from risks?
Ans: Yes I am a risk taker. Without risk there is no point to live in this world.
Because risk takers are get success in there life.

8. Can you work under pressure?


Ans: I actually work better under pressure and I've found that I enjoy working in a
challenging environment. But working well under pressure requires careful and
skillful planning.

9. Are you willing to relocate to CANADA if you are employed?


Ans: Yes, I would like to relocate to support my company as well as my job. It's a
great opportunity to work with different kinds of people and it explores knowledge.

10. What motivates you to do good job?


Ans: Main motivation for me for doing good job is work environment and your
reporting manager. If both are good then the employer will not think that I am
working for a company, he have to think I am working for my family.
Secondly success is what motivates me to do a good job.

11. How long would you expect to work for us if hired?


Ans: Ma’am, No company wants to hire someone whom availability is doubtful.
Here if I find those opportunities then I would definitely work for a long time that
should be more than 5 years.

12. What is your position in your current or previous job?


Ans: My current job position is Assistant Manager Electrical, Project Department at
Century Real estate Pvt. Ltd.
Previous to this my position was Senior Engineer Electrical, Project Department at
Concept Energy Systems.
Previous to this my position was Junior Engineer Electrical, Project Department at
Nagarjuna Construction Company LTD.
Previous to this my position was Engineer Electrical, Project Department at
Janapriya Engineers Syndicate Pvt. Ltd.
Previous to this my position was Project Engineer Electrical, Project Department at
GSJ Environment Ltd.

13. Have you managed people in any of the positions you’ve held?
Ans: Yes, I have 9 years of experience managing people. Currently I managed a team
from 10 people to a group of 22. Most of my duties as a manger was to make sure
our projects were on track and that each employee was completing their work.

14. How do you balance both your family and your job?
Ans: By giving proper time to both job and family. When I am at job I focus on my
work and all task given to me this is very important in achieving in becoming
productive at any responsibility given. I work for my family and their needs. Same
manner my family are important to me I do not bring home work if it is not
necessary.

15. Are you ready to obey the rules and regulation of our company?
Ans: Yes, I'm ready to obey with the rules and regulation of my company.

16. If you're told by your boss to do something that you feel is illegal, what would you
do?
Ans: If it's illegal, I would not do the work and tell my manager that this work
is illegal. Still my manager forcing me then I have to inform to HR.

17. What was the toughest decision you ever make in life?
Ans: The toughest decisions that I ever made in my life is about to choose my career.
I want to be an engineer but my parents planned for me something else because of
financial problems. At that time this decision was toughest for me to choose parents
planned career path or my own.

18. How do you define success?


Ans: I define success as living my true purpose and having a positive impact on the
lives of people by uplifting them and inspiring them to think and act in ways that
they may not have considered before.
19. What will you do when you have a problem with your boss?
Ans: When I have a problem with my boss, I don't like to keep it bottled up. I want
to resolve problems, so I can work efficiently without distractions. I always start a
conversation and try and solve our differences through professional conversation.

20. What position do you prefer to work in this organization and why do you think
you can work better in such designation?
Ans: I am comfortable with both the positions, Assistant Manager Electrical as well
as Manager Electrical. But the position for now that I most prefer is Manager
Electrical because as I have well experienced in this field more than 9 years. So I
want to do my best with my knowledge and skills.

21. Is the salary $8,500CAD good for you per month or How much
salary do you expect?
