D.G. Sync.

Panel Observations:

A) Switch Board:

1. Containment of following components/provisions to be confirmed


(i) Mechanical interlocks and safety shutters
(ii) Isolating Plug and Socket
(iii) Mechanical CB and Spring Status indicator and CB Operation Counter
(iv) Mechanical Spring charging provision
2. Designed ambient temperature is 45 deg C, which should be 50 deg C
3. System fault level is considered as 18.3 kA for 1 sec, which should be 18.4 kA for 3 sec
4. Voltage rating of Phase indicating LED is not mentioned
5. Indication Lamp for DC/AC fail not provided
6. Separate earthing Truck is not mentioned
7. MFM catalogue to be provided

B) NGR Panel:

1. Unit of Temperature rise is not mentioned, which should be in deg C

C) NIC Panel:

1. Two Bus sections of NIC panel are not mentioned

D) CRP:

1. No parity of CT ratios and classes found between CRP drawing, Switch board drawing and Bill
of Materials
2. Need of Rectifier after Battery Charger is not explained (CRP page 13 of PDF)
3. DC fail test and accept push button not provided
4. According to SOQ, Main Protection Relay should have provision of tripping of breaker in case
of failure of TNC switch
5. Alarms for “MFR unhealthy” and “Trip Circuit unhealthy” is neither provided in annunciator nor
associated with BMS
6. Proper shorting arrangement should be provided for unused CT’s at RCP for incomers
7. Certain things were not clarified:
i. LED named as “Set Running” (CRP page 6 of PDF)
ii. Abbreviation “RTL” (CRP page 11 of PDF)
