GENERAL NOTES & SPECIFICATIONS

ELECTRICAL WORKS

A. Electric service shall be overhead; 230 Volts; Single Phase, 2-Wires, 60 cycles per
second.
B. Main disconnect switch shall be 30 Ampere, two-pole 230 Volts Main Circuit Breaker
C. Main Feeder shall be 2-8.0mm² THHN Copper Wire in 50mm² RSC conduit pipes.
D. All materials, equipments and supplier shall be branded new, first graded quality
free from defects and of proven acceptability for the purpose intended.
E. Conductors shall be wired continuously from outlet to outlet and no splices shall be
except in metal pull boxes provided for the purpose. Connection by an approved
installation.
F. The minimum size of conductor shall be No. 2.00mm² for the light and 3.50mm²
for the power outlets.
G. Provide adequate and effective grounding system.
H. All wiring guage shall be followed as shown in the riser diagram and in the plan.
I. All installation works herein shall be done under the direct supervision of
a duly license Electrical Engineer or Master Electrician.
J. All works shall be done in accordance with the latest edition of the Philippine
Electrical Code, ordinances of the local enforcing authority and requirements of local
electric utility.
K. Mounting height of devices shall be detail on the plans or as detailed by the engineer/architect
and or as follows;
K.1. Local Switches --------------------------------- 1500mm
K.2 Receptacles ------------------------------------- 300mm
L. No revision on the design shall be done without the prior knowledge and approval of the designer
and the owner, any such revision without approval shall cause the responsibility of the designer to cease as
the whole.
