PREPARATION:

INTRODUCTION

JERICO: Today is a wonderful day especially for those who love and those who are loved by
someone special. Seeing happy faces today makes me believe that surely, you and I know that all
our hearts are keeping memorable precious moments. We all are guilty of loving. We all are happy
that we have experienced the joy of loving and caring.

I would like each of us to remember why we give so much importance to the day of hearts not only
today, but also every time February 14 comes. Let us recollect the story of St. Valentine.

ARMIE: The account of historians about St. Valentine is not new to many of us. It is a beautiful story
of love, a story of hope, an inspiration, a fancy story of affection, and a story of devotion. St.
Valentine’s Day, commonly shortened to Valentine’s Day is an annual commemoration held on
February 14 celebrating love and affection. Some of the symbols that remind us of this day include
the heart, doves, flowers, chocolates, candies and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th
century, handwritten valentines have given way to mass- produced greeting cards.

Because of Valentine, some people devote themselves in finding the meaning of love… for what is
love? Truly it must be the glow in our eyes. It must be the secret whisper that your heart and mine
can hear. It must be the motive behind our reason for living. In short some people may say that this
is why the world never stops to go around the sun. Love is truly a wonderful thing, a many
splendored things according to the words of an old song. And yet, its story shall forever live in our
hearts.

I. OPENING PROGRAM

ARMIE: May I request all of you to stand for the singing of the national anthem to be lead to us by
Mrs. Jovelyn Soberano.

ARMIE: Please remain standing for our invocation through a Dance prayer by the selected Grade 4
pupils.

JERICO: You may now take your seats. We appreciate you for being here with us this afternoon.
Tell you what, I’m sure this woman does too. May I call in our supportive and active LPTA President ,
Mrs. Virginia Onia to give her welcoming remarks.

JERICO:Thank you so much ma’am for that warm welcome. And to formally open the program may
we call in our energetic and beloved principal, Mrs Cecilia Acosta. Maam!

ARMIE: Libtong Integrated School is home of talented pupils and students. Yes indeed! To prove
that, let us witness the selected LIS pupils in their opening number.

II. ENTRANCE

ARMIE: That is very energetic performance. Thank you so much. In this moment of time, we are
about to witness the grand entrance of his majesty King and Queen of Hearts 2018.

JERICO: Ladies and gentlemen let us all witness the grand entrance of His Majesty King of Hearts
2018, Jaime Ubas Jr.

ARMIE: And our Majesty Queen of Hearts 2018, Zyra Faye C. Montano.
JERICO: There you have witnessed our King and Queen of hearts 2018 in their grand entrance. Now
to entertain us, may we give the stage to the selected Kinder, Grade 1 and Grade 2 pupils for their
intermission number.

ARMIE: What a great performance! Thank you Kinder, Grade 1 and Grade 2 pupils. Ladies and
gentlemen, The next part of the program is the Entrance of the royal court. Let us set eyes on them,
starting with.(Refer to the invitation)

III. ENTRANCE OF THE ROYAL COURT

JERICO: How gorgeous and handsome they are. Ladies and gentlemen you just witnessed the
entrance of the royal court. In this moment may we call in our ever supportive Brgy. Captain,
Eduardo Somera to give us a message.

ARMIE:Do you want another intermission number? Alright, the stage is now yours grade 6 pupils.

IV. INVESTITURE CEREMONIES

A. PUTTING OF LEI

JERICO: Next in line on our program is the putting of Lei/Handling of Flower/Bouquet. To start it,
may we call in( Refer to the invitation) to put the lei to Mr. Kind Jhun Lord Martin.

ARMIE: Before we continue, May we hear a message from our district supervisor, Mr. Fian B. Siding.
Sir!

JERICO: Thank you so much sir for that message. And now may we call in(refer
to the invitation) to to his highness Second Prince, Bryan S. Areola.

ARMIE: To amaze us, Let us give the floor to grade 7 students.

JERICO: That was fantastic! Wasn’t it? This is the moment of truth; one of your most awaited part is
the raffle draw. Who’s gonna be the lucky ones? Who will go home with some stuffs?

ARMIE: Congratulations to the winners. No worries for the non-winners yet, you still have the
chance to be drawn for more exciting prizes later.

B. PINNING OF SASH

ARMIE: Next part of our investiture ceremonies is the pinning of sash to………..

JERICO: All right, The committee Chairman on education, SBM Eugene Fernandez is also here with
us tonight to deliver us a message. Sir!

ARMIE: To make you stay awake, another showcase of talent will be brought to us by the grade 10
students. Let us give them a round of applause.

JERICO:(Raffle draw) If your name isn’t selected yet, may be this is your chance.

IV. CORONATION CEREMONIES

A. PLACING THE CORONET

ARMIE: In this juncture, we will be witnessing the placing of the coronet on (refer to the invitation)

JERICO: Another message will be given to us by Honorable Vicemayor, Bernado Tovera Jr. Sir.

ARMIE: Thank you so much for that message sir. Pupils of Libtong integrated School are very
talented as proven by their performances. Well, one of the reasons is because of their teachers. Let’s
call in our talented and dedicated elementary teachers to render us an intermission number.

B. PLACING OF CAPE/TRAIN

JERICO:Another coronation ceremony is the placing of Cape/train to.. (refer to the invitation).

ARMIE:To give us an inspirational talk, may we call in our Congressman, Eric D. Singson.
Sir.

JERICO: Earlier, you witnessed a performance from the elementary department. Sure thing, the
secondary department also prepared an intermission for all of you. Let’s give them a round of
applause.

C. PLACING THE CROWN

ARMIE: Another moment for his majesty King of hearts 2019 is the placing of his crown. May we ask
our Honorable mayor Roque S. Verzosa Jr. and our Kind Principal Cecilia L. Acosta to place the crown
to his majesty King of Hearts 2019.

JERICO:This valentine, all of us need to be inspired. Let’s all listen to our Honorable Municipal mayor
Roque S. Verzosa Jr. for his inspirational message.

ARMIE:Thank you so much mayor for that inspiring message. Now is a moment for Her Majesty
Queen of Hearts 2019. May we request our Governor Ryan Singson & our principal Mrs. Cecilia L.
Acosta to place the crown to her majesty queen of hearts 2019.

JERICO:Let us listen to another message from our crowning guest and speaker Hon. Ryan Luis. V.
Singson, our Provincial Governor.

ARMIE:Let’s be energized by an intermission number by our LIS PTA Officers and selected Pupils.

VI. TURNING OVER THE SCEPTER AND FINAL MARCH

ARMIE: Let us all witness the final march and the turning over of the scepter of our King and Queen
of Hearts 2018.
