This memo serves as notice to the concerns of the company in regards to the employees’ punctuality
and attendance. During the last few months a lot of staff has been reported to perform unscheduled
absences and tardiness during working hours. I urge the general manager, Mr. Santiago to take
disciplinary action regarding about this concern.

Mr. Santiago, as the general manager, must encourage the employees to observe punctuality and
regular attendance in reporting to the workplace as stipulated in the employees’ manual. Failure to
conform to the required working schedule will have to face the consequences according to the
company’s policy:

1. On the first offense, the employee will receive a written warning.


2. On the second offense, the employee will receive a verbal warning.
3. On the third offense, the employee may be suspended for 1 week.
4. If the employee will still continue his/her tardiness the employee may be terminated.

Employees failed to abide the company’s policy on work performance and ethics will have to face
serious penalty. I hope you will understand this written offense is written for the betterment of the
organization and employees’ performance. If you have other concerns please do not hesitate to contact
the human resource department. Thank you for the time.
