Quick User Guide

Attention

█ After IP camera is installed, you need to configure the functions and set the parameters. You can
configure the related functions through the browser. Please refer to the actual product, the
instructions are for reference only.

█ The instructions and software will be updated in real time based on the product, and will be
upgraded without further notice.

█ The instructions may contain technically inaccurate areas or areas that do not conform to the
product's features and operations. The final interpretation of the company shall prevail.

█ Please promptly modify the default password after the device is installed to avoid being stolen.

█ Please keep the device horizontally installed or installed in a stable place, taking care to prevent
the product from falling.

█ Please unplug the power cord and completely shut off the power when cleaning the device.

█ Please pay attention to the waterproof of the device housing when installed outdoors.

This manual may contain technically inaccurate areas, and its contents will be regularly

updated without notice; the updated contents will be added in the new version of the

user manual.

Ⅰ．Quick Configuration (using IE as an example)
1.1 Network Connection Topology
There are two main types of connection methods commonly used between
network cameras and computers, as shown in Figures 1.1 and 1.2.

1.2 Device Search


Note: Before installing the camera, please go to www.escam.cn/download to download
QH series software
Please run search tool software after the device is connected to the power supply and
network cable,then click search button,the software window automatically displays the
current network camera information in the local network. And you can use the tool to do
some simple configuration of the camera.

Note:
The default static IP address of the camera is 192.168.1.189

Must ensure that the camera and computer are on the same gateway
1.3 Device Login
Enter the IP address of the IP camera in the browser, and then press Enter. The login
screen appears.Enter the device username and password, then login button to login.
Note: Default user is admin ,default password is 123456.please change the default
password for security.

Click "Download Plugin " to download plug-in and install the plug-in.

In order to watch live video properly, the first time you access the device, you need to do
the following:
Step 1: Open IE browser and click "Add" in "Tools> Internet Options> Security> Trusted
Sites> Sites to add the device IP address as a trusted site, as shown in the figure.

Step 2: In the "Tools> Internet Options> Security> Internet> Custom Level", "Download
unsigned ActiveX controls" and "ActiveX controls not marked safe for scripting" in
"ActiveX Controls and Plugins" Initialize and execute script" option is set to "Enable", the
specific operation, as shown.

Step 3: After installing the plug-in, click "Preview" to open the image, as shown

Ⅱ.Function Configuration

2.1 Target Count


1) Enabled
2) Arming time: default 7 days 24 hours
3) Set the detection area: Click to start drawing, left mouse button to select the starting
point, move the mouse to draw a detection line, click the left button again to confirm
4) Inspection line: Up to 4 simultaneous settings
5) Statistical method: A→B increase count cannot be modified, but can set B→A
increase count, decrease count or ignore
6) Traffic statistics interval: the setting screen shows the refresh time of the flow count
result
7) Traffic statistics threshold: Within the time set by the traffic statistics interval, the total
number of detections exceeds the set threshold, that is, the alarm is started.
8) Aggregate statistics time period: Set the count time period for the total number of test
results, which is not counted outside this time period.
9) Total alarm threshold: Within the set statistical time period, when the count exceeds
the threshold, the alarm is started.
10) Target proportion: the proportion of the screen occupied by the person or object
being detected. The middle part of the image is indicated by a dotted box.
The detection principle is: the detected person or thing will exceed the set proportion of
the size will count, less than the set ratio does not count.

2.2 Object Left/Lost
1) Enabled
2) Arming time: default 7 days 24 hours
3) Set the area: Click to start drawing, left mouse button to select the starting point,
move the mouse to the next turning point and click again until you draw a box that can
completely frame the detected object, and then right click and collapse
4) Detection area: Up to 4 detection areas can be set at the same time
5) Detection type: object lost, object left, object lost or left
6) Target ratio: The proportion of the screen occupied by the person or object being
detected. The middle of the image is indicated by a dotted box.
The detection principle is: the set proportion must be smaller than the detected object,
and the object that exceeds the set proportion is not alarmed.
7) Detection time: When the item is lost and the item is left over for a set time, the alarm
will start.

2.3 Area Detection
1) Enabled
2) Arming time: default 7 days 24 hours
3) Set the area: click to start drawing, left mouse button to select the starting point, move
the mouse to the next click again at the turning point until you draw a frame that will
completely frame the area to be checked after the box, the right mouse button collapses
4) Detection area: Up to 4 detection areas can be set at the same time
5) Detection type: target entry, target departure, target entry or exit, target
6) Target ratio: The proportion of the screen occupied by the person or object being
detected. The middle of the image is indicated by a dotted box.
The detection principle is: the set proportion must be smaller than the detected
object, and the object that exceeds the set proportion is not alarmed.
7) Detection time: The target enters, the target leaves, the target enters or leaves the
three rules cannot set the time, trigger the immediate alarm, the target does not need to
set a time for the target to stay in the detection area, trigger the alarm after exceeding
this time.

2.4 Line Crossing
1) Enabled
2) Arming time: default 7 days 24 hours
3) Set the area: Click to start drawing, left mouse button to select the starting point,
move the mouse to draw a test line, click again to confirm
4) Detection area: Up to 4 detection areas can be set at the same time
5) Detection type: A→B alarm, A←→B alarm
6) Target ratio: The set ratio needs to be smaller than the detected object, and the object
that exceeds the set proportion is not alarmed

Ⅲ．Mobile Phone Operation Guide

1. Download the APP: AEeye from APP store or Google Play and install it.
2. You can choose to log in locally for the first time (you will not bind the account to the
added device), or you can register the account and log in with the account
(using the account login, the added device will be bound to the account. After the phone
is replaced, you can use this account to log in. You can view the device without adding it
again).

3. Click ,open the device management interface;Click ,open add device interface

you can enter the serial number or scan the QR code to add the serial number, enter the
user name andpassword, select the channel number and stream type according to the
device, and click”Add”.then Click the preview screen button, select the channel
you want to open to open the corresponding peer preview.
Note: If there is no QR code displayed under IE [Parameter Configuration] - [2D
Code], please open [Platform Management] and change AEeye to "Close" state.
After saving, modify it to "Open" state again. Save it. If it still does not appear,
please contact the manufacturer's technical support department.

FAQ
1. What kind operate system was supported?
Support windows XP/windows 7 /windows8/windows10, not support MAC OS PC
system, but support Mobile APP of Android/iPhone/iPad
2. What kind Web browser was supported?
Support Internet Explorer only, not support Google Chrome or Firefox.
3. What is the default user name and password?
Default User name: admin; Password: 123456.
4. How to solve the problem of cannot find the IP address by search tool?
Please ensure the IP camera and computer in the same network segment or not,
that is meaning, under one router.
5. How to solve the problem of IP camera could be searched, but can not login in
browser?

A. Check the IP camera and computer if in the same network segment
For example:
If the computer gateway is 192.168.1.1, then the gateway of the camera should be
192.168.1.1,and IP address of camera should be 192.168.1.***
If the computer IP address is 192.168.0.1, then the gateway of the camera should
be 192.168.0.1,and IP address of camera should be 192.168.0.***
B. Check if the IP address conflict between the IP camera and others devices
6. How to solve the problem of can not see picture in web browser?
Kindly check if install the ActiveX controller or not;
If the Internet Explorer browser was blocked the Plug-ins, please let it enable
”ActiveX” controller to download and install.
7. Why not APP receive the alarm message?
Please register on app and login by account ,then enable alarm push function on
app.
