OBJECTIVE
Confident and enthusiastic engineer seeking a rewarding and challenging position in the field of DESIGN with
continuous scope for skill enhancement. I desire a position where I can actively exploit my knowledge, skills, and
abilities to contribute towards the organization’s growth and success.
PROJECTS WORKED: PRODUCT DESIGN TRAINING
Project on 3D Modelling: Casting components – NX10.0
 Inputs:
2D drawings of casting components like connecting rod, valves, piston assembly, etc.
 Roles & Responsibilities:
Worked on more than 20 simple and complex casting components using best practice method.
Developed 3D parametric model using 2D drawings by Boolean operations method.
All the required fillets taken care as mentioned in the drawing.
Created 2D drawings with dimensions and all the required views and sections.
GD & T call outs and tolerance symbols added in the drawings as per the given inputs.
Title block and tolerance table creation as per the input drawings.
Projects on Reverse Engineering – NX10.0
    1. Gaming Box
    2. A pillar-Trim
    3. B pillar-Trim
    4. Steering column upper cover trim
 Inputs:
Scanned dump surfaces with tooling direction, fixing points and existing physical sample to .
understand for 3D modeling.
 Roles & Responsibilities:
Developed 3D model using scanned data and also checked for the tooling feasibility.
The inputs given was 3D IGES scanned data, tooling direction and the physical component for
         more understanding.
The deviation tolerance specified by the client was 0.5-1mm.
Complete surface modeling was developed by creating sections at different areas to get the right curves and
also considering master sections at the critical fixing areas.
Curves were created from the sections which were used for surface modeling.
Draft analysis done to ensure tooling and parting lines defined as part of the requirement.
All B-side features were created with respect to the given tooling direction and checked for the undercut
        using draft analysis.
Final delivery has done with DFM checks and overlapping with the input scan data to ensure quality
        deliverable.

ACADEMIC PROJECT
Design, fabrication and analysis of Pneumatic assisted steering mechanism
In Pneumatic power steering system, pneumatic system is used to multiply force applied to the steering wheel
which in turn steer the vehicle’s road wheels. High pressure compressed air is transmitted throughout the various
pneumatic actuators and control valves. Along with the mechanical system of ball-worm arrangement, pneumatic
system is adopted to reduce the steering effort.
Software used: Solid Edge
