QUALITY MANAGEMENT

METHODOLOGY FOR CASTING OF RE WALL FASCIA PANELS

SCOPE : The work includes the casting of precast fascia panel at precast yard as
per the relevant drawings.

REFERENCE : As per relevant drawings.

MANPOWER REQUIRED:

1. Site Engineer
2. Supervisor/ Surveyor
3. Operators
4. Workmen

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

1. Moulds for casting panels


2. Transit mixer
3. Pick & Carry Crane
4. Needle & Vibrator
5. Water tanker

MATERIAL REQUIRED:
1. Reinforcement of different sizes as per drawing.
2. Binding Wire.
3. Concrete of M35 grade (Approved mix design)
4. Galvanized hooks
5. Shuttering oil

WORK PROCEDURE:
1. The moulds shall be placed on leveled bed.

2. Reinforcement and lifting hooks shall be placed as per approved drawings.

3. The approved grade of M35 concrete shall be placed into the moulds and
vibration of the same shall be done with needle vibrator.

4. The side shutter shall be removed after the initial setting of concrete.

5. The precast panels shall be lifted from bed after 24 hours with the help of
cranes and suitable curing shall be done accordingly. Curing tank is also
constructed to ensure proper curing.

6. After initial curing, the panels shall be lifted from tank and stacked into the
stacking yard.

7. The sampling of cubes shall be done as per MORT&H.

QUALITY CONTROL:

1. All quality control practices for concrete works shall be exercised as per ITP
of structural concrete.

SAFETY PROCEDURE:

1. Proper PPEs viz, shoes, safety Jackets etc. Shall be used.
