The statues of Mother India, Gandhi, and Bhagat Singh come to life after two people criticize India in front of them. Bhagat Singh expresses frustration that they sacrificed their lives for a country where some people are uninterested or corrupt. ( Music background, patriotic song, freedom fighters fighting and dieing, they move out of the stage

and then die)

Next, they make statues of mother india, Gandhi and bhagat singh. (3 people get next 3 people and
make them statues. And they go off stage. (1 min)

Next person 1, gets on stage, (luks at mother india statue)

p-1: Wow, wat a beautiful lady! Shall we go to a movie? U want to party? Come baby come! (He eats
pan, spits it, he smokes, dances there and leaves)

Statues starts feeling bad : What is happening to the people of this country?
Gandhi statue: Its ok Mam, some people ae good some are bad, lets be patient.

Bhagat singh: Next time someone does that, I shoot. (All become statue again) ( 1 min)

P-2 and P3: (comes and sits infront of the statues).

P2:What have u done for us? Its because of u guys, we got freedom which wasn’t required.

P3: Britishers were far better man! Look people spit everywhere.

P2: There is unemployment, corruption.

P3: Non deserving people are getting opportunities.

P2: Schools, hospitals, everything is a business now.


p3: I hate this country.

P2: We hate this country. And hence we r leaving to America, Europe for jobs. India and Indians can
never prosper.

P3: People don’t want to work here, they just cant sit at home and they go to workplace to gossip!
Such a time waste! Anyway bye bye bapu, bye bhagat! (2 mins) (off stage)

Bhagat: Bapu, I told u, people here got the freedom for free of cost. That’s why they don’t
understand the value! Did we sacrifice our lives for businessmen doctors, corrupt engineers,
politicians, uninterested teachers and so on?

Gandhi: Bhagat, don’t lose hope, we still have army, navy and defence, who live and die for our
mother india. We have had scientisits like Dr APJ Abdul kalam! We have so many doctors and others
who serve humans and lift up society, who restore faith in humanity.

Bhagat: U r right bapu, we did our job and now its upto the generations of Indians to do theirs! We
are at we believe in. Let us all believe that, we can do it, we can still make india, a better place to live
in.

Mother india: All of us would wait to see a better india! Vande mataram!
