Greetings!

Thank you for taking the time in reviewing my resume. I am applying for a
Secondary Social Studies teaching position in your prestigious institution. I
graduated my Bachelor’s degree – Bachelor of Arts major in International Studies at
Xavier University; I had my Master’s academic units earned and acquired at Surigao
del Sur State University and I was able to pass the Comprehensive Exam last
December 2010. Currently, I have completed my Professional Education teaching
units at Opol Community College. With the sufficient Internship program that I have
undertaken, my interest in pursuing my teaching career grew even stronger.

Due to the Internship program of my Alma Mater, I had my first classroom teaching
experience with Grade 10 level students for it was the designated task for me of
which I was handling Social Studies subject. During this said exposures of the out
of the campus program, I particularly enjoyed the part when I became the
Substitute teacher of Araling Panlipunan Grade 10 in the two Sections of the
assigned students I handled; wherein I worked without Supervision and passed the
Observation of the AP Department Head at Opol National Secondary Technical
School. My careful preparation of lessons allowed me to break down complicated
concepts to simple examples that my adolescent learners could grasp, which was
rewarding for both my students and myself.
