Mis-Aligned Sectors
1. Introduction
Mis-Aligned Sectors module analyzes drive test data (Net Velocity data) of Cells to identify Mis-
Aligned Sectors. It helps to identify the deviation between the planned azimuth in the database and
Actual azimuth based on drive test samples. Mis-Aligned Sectors module allows the user to visualize
the Mis-Aligned cells with its Calculated Center angle and Database values with its Samples. Mis-
Aligned Sectors Visualization on the basis of different Geographic levels
The objective of the Mis-Aligned sectors module is to identify the cells which are not installed as per
the planned azimuth based on the drive test samples. The Mis-Aligned layer can be viewed for
different geographical levels. This layer will help the engineer to view the Mis-Aligned cells and take
action accordingly.
The Mis-Aligned sectors module can be accessed through Layer panel >> Analytics >> RF >> Mis-
Aligned Sectors >> Select any band either 2300 or 850.
Network Region: Network region wise Mis-Aligned Sectors count should be displayed at Zoom Level
starting from 500 KM onwards till 300KM. All the Network region geographies should be displayed
filled with orange color based on the availability of Mis-Aligned Cell.
City: City wise Mis-Aligned Sectors count should be displayed at Zoom Level starting from 200 KM
onwards till 100KM.
Kabupaten Level: Kabupaten wise Mis-Aligned Sectors count should be displayed at Zoom Level
starting from 50 KM onwards till 30 KM.
Kecamatan Level: Kecamatan wise Mis-Aligned Sectors count should be displayed at Zoom Level
starting from 10 KM onwards till 5 KM.
Sites Level: The actual Mis-Aligned Sectors of the selected band should be displayed at Zoom Level
starting from 3 KM onwards till 100M.
Setting Window: For visualizing the setting window of Mis Aligned Cells module following are the
steps:
● The band layer setting of Overshooting Cell module can be accessed through ---- Layer panel >>
Analytics >> RF >>Sector Misalignment >> Select any band either 2300 or 850 >> click on the
Individual Band Layer setting contains two tabs namely Properties & Thematic view through which
user should able to set its properties or thematic view to visualize the overshooting cells
Properties:
● Display Sites: This setting should decide the visualization of the Mis aligned cells.
● Date Selection: This Setting should decide the date misaligned cells display.
Thematic view:
● Label Font: This should allow to increase or decrease the font size of the label like Site name
and will be applicable from 500 m or below zoom level
● Label Color: This should allow to change the color of the label like Site name and will be
applicable from 500 m or below zoom level
● Opacity: This setting should be responsible for the opacity of the displayed Overshooting Cells
samples ‘100%’ refers to full opacity and opacity ‘0%’ refers to lowest opacity. Default value will
be 50%
● Label Position: Decide the position of the label like center, left or Right. This also allows a user
to define the custom position of the label.
● Label Expression: This setting allows defining the naming convention of the Site that needs to
be displayed on the map.
Table View: It shows the Mis-Aligned cells count for the particular geography
PAN Level (Indonesia): On clicking the floating table icon from zoom level of 500 KM to 300 KM a
table window should appear which shows Network region wise count of Mis-Aligned sectors.
Network Region: On clicking the floating table from zoom level of 200 KM to 100 KM a table window
should appear which shows the count of City-wise count of Mis-Aligned sectors.
City: On clicking the floating table icon from zoom level of 50 KM to 30 KM a table window should
appear which shows Kabupaten wise count of Mis-Aligned sectors.
Kabupaten: On clicking the floating table from zoom level of 200 KM to 100 KM a table window
should appear which shows Kecamatan wise count of Mis-Aligned sectors.
Kecamatan Level: On clicking the floating table icon from zoom level of 3 KM to 100M a table window
should appear which have a list of the entire Mis-Aligned site Ids with the count of Mis-Aligned cells.
View Alignment: By the help of View Alignment user can visualize the planned azimuth and Actual
azimuth based on the Drive test samples of the site.
It should display the physical parameter values of the Mis-Aligned cell and field measured values based
on the Drive test data. The Planned & actual azimuth with its samples will be visible on the map.
The same map can be visualized for all the misaligned cells of the clicked site by clicking on the Site
level icon available at the top right corner of the view alignment window. Clicking on which should
display the physical parameter values and field measured values for all the Mis-Aligned cells of the
clicked site.
Alignment Properties: Alignment property table should display all the information of the clicked Mis-
Aligned Sectors like Sites information with physical parameters, Calculated center angle, deviation and
Swap (Sector & Cyclic) identified by the Mis-Aligned sector identification algorithm.
The same information for other misaligned cells can be visualized of the clicked site by changing the
selection of cell from the cell dropdown.
3. Report
Login to Foresight > Main Menu > BI (Business Intelligence) > Templates > Reports > Search the
Report Template from the search bar
Clicking on Download request button will open a report wizard to generate a sector misalignment
report.
Foresight user can create Mis-Aligned Sectors analysis report for any geography level like All Network
Region, City, and Kabupaten & Kecamatan
This functionality facilitates the user to download the generated Sector Misalignment report.
Login to Foresight > Main Menu > BI (Business Intelligence) > Repository > Search the
generated report name from the search bar
Figure 17 BI Repository
Requested report is available under the Repository section of the module (Business Intelligence).
Once the report is generated, it can be downloaded by clicking on the download button.
