CALL OUT Ladies and gentlemen.

are going to begin our Public Speaking Competition.

Before we begin, this is some reminder.

At this time, we request that all mobile phones, be turned off

or silent mode during the competition, as these items might
distract our contestant.

Public Speaking Competition 2018.

INTRODUCTION A very good morning to everyone and welcome to SMK Dato

I am Muhammad Hatim b. Mohd Faisal and I am Nur Izzah

Amirah bt Hariff . We had been given the task to be your
emcee for this morning. We thank you all for gracing this
occasion.

The aim of competition is to develop, promote and support

the English oral communication skills among the students in
schools.

participate in this year public speaking competition

REGULATIONS
This competition is divided into two sections, as follows:
Section 1 the Prepared speech
Section 2 the impromptu speech

Let me read to you the competition rule for the prepared

speech.
• The contestants should deliver a prepared speech on a topic
of their choice for 6 to 8 minutes.
• A warning bell will be sounded at the 6th minute and a final
bell at the 8th minute. Marks will be deducted thereafter.
