This document contains lesson plans for two music lessons: 1) Students will learn rhythms on pages 9-10 of Tshotsholoza through a "sing off" activity and clapping exercises. Their understanding will be assessed through performing the rhythms correctly. 2) Students will read through Tshotsholoza using solfege. They will reflect on their performance with partners and sing it again, hoping to improve areas like note accuracy. Their improvement from the first to second run-through will be assessed.
