Mariam, it is really nice to see that you
enjoy your friendship with Mays. Through this friendship, you have develop your social skills, and your communication skills. You were able communicate what you want to Mays, asking her for help and treating her nicely by share toys with her and include her in your play. You were able to have positive conversation with Mays using soft voice, and nice words.
The Prophet ﷺreminds us of the
importance of good company in this hadith( record of the Prophet )ﷺ: “A good friend and a bad friend are like a perfume-seller and a blacksmith: The perfume-seller might give you some perfume as a gift, or you might buy some from him, or at least you might smell its fragrance. As for the blacksmith, he might singe your clothes, and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace.” [Bukhari, Muslim]
From this hadith it shows that by having
good friends it will also benefit us. It will put our heart at ease and provide encouragement for us to do good deeds. May your friendship with Mays last and continue to bloom.
