There are two types of Shell Retailer programmes, each with specific criteria.
Regardless of the programme that may suit your interest and investment, be assured that you will be
operating with the same high standards of the Shell retail station business.
Do you own a piece of land (approx. 1 acre in size; 180ft frontage)?
Yes
Dealer Owned Dealer Operated (DODO) Programme
If you are an entrepreneur looking into opportunities to embark as a business partner with Shell, join
our DODO programme and transform your assets into a world class investment.
Criteria**
You own and/or have the rights to develop a plot of land* that is approximately 40,000 square
feet in dimension
The abovementioned plot of land has a minimum of 180 feet of frontage length
You are able to fund an investment capital of approximately RM2 million to build and operate a
Shell retail station on the plot
Alternatively, if you are looking to sell or purchase suitable plots of land for Shell retail station
development, we will be pleased to be in contact with you.
* Subject to suitability
** Shell reserves the rights to evaluate the suitability of the nominated principal operating the station

Complete set of the land title copy for the proposed plot
Location map (preferably on Google Maps) or GPS coordinates indicating the exact location of
your proposed plot
Cover letter stating your interest which includes your contact details (i.e., name, email address,
phone number)

Shell Retailer - Company Owned Dealer Operated (CODO) Programme
We're looking for focused, customer-driven entrepreneurs to manage and operate our service stations
in Malaysia on a full-time basis.
Application Criteria
Between 25 to 45 years of age
Minimum education is Degree OR 5 years working experience (preferably in customer service)
Computer literate
You should be able to finance your business independently, with the following Working Capital
and Bank Guarantee minimum requirements (estimated):
