Hypercoat PU - 40 PDF

Hypercoat PU-40 is a single component, bitumen-modified polyurethane liquid membrane used for waterproofing and sealing. It can be applied to sewerage tanks, basements, roofs, retaining walls, and more. It adheres strongly to various substrates and is easy to apply. Hypercoat PU-40 is elastic, impermeable to water, and resistant to chemicals and cracking. Bitumen-Modified Polyurethane Waterproofing and Sealing Liquid-
applied Membrane
_______________________________________________________________________________
Product Description Hypercoat PU-40 is a single component, bitumen-modified,
polyurethene, air curing waterproofing and sealing system. The
membrane has an excellent tolerance against expansion and
shrinkage of substrate.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Uses Hypercoat PU-40 has the following typical uses:
-- Sewerage tanks, spectic tanks and manholes
-- Basement and lift pits, bathroom floor as sandwich
membrane.
-- Roof which is covered with screed, mud or heat insulation
system.
-- As joint sealant in concrete and asphaltic pavements.
-- Retaining walls.
-- Canal linings.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Advantages Hypercoat PU-40 possesses the following advantages and
benefits both during its application and after it has hardened:
-- Strong adhesion to substrates like concrete, stone,
asphaltic surface, steel, bricks, wood etc.
-- Single component, no problems of mixing.
-- Does not require a separate primer. Applied in two coats &
first coat acts as a primer.
-- Tolerant to large expansion and shrinkage strains.
-- Easy to apply, even in difficult accessible areas.
-- Excellent chemical resistance.
-- Impermeable to water
-- Elastic to bridge hair-line cracks.
-- High resistance to aggressive backfill.
-- Can be applied on vertical and horizontal surface.
