TABLETS

Raw Material Approved raw materials are issued from store as per
formula
Weighing and Issue

Disintegration & Raw materials are size reduced to coarse powder from
by disintegrator & fine powder form by pulverizer.
Pulverization of Raw
Materials

Decoction & Ghan Coarse powder herbs is soaked in steam jacketed s.s.
Preparation extraction vessel and heated to collect decoction,
which further concentrated to ghan form.

Preparation of Granules Fine powders, excipients and Ghan is mixed in Rapid


by RMG and FBD mixer granulator (R.M.G.), wet mass is dried in Fluid
Bed Dryer (F.B.D.). Granules are prepared by Cad mill.

Granules are lubricated with lubricanting agent in


Lubrication of Granules octagonal blender for about 30 minutes. Granule
sample is tested for moisture.

Compression of Granules- Tablets of specified size are prepared by Rotary


compression machine.
Tablet preparation

Coating (Film/Sugar) of Uncoated compressed tablets are seal coated in


Tablets coating pan; then film coated in auto coater or sugar
coated in sugar coating pans.

Sorting, Counting and After Q.C. pass of bulk final tablets, these are sorted
Packing of Tablets and packed through semi-automatic counting and
filling machine.

Transferred to Finished After Q.C. pass of final samples, batch is transferred to


approved finished goods store.
