DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MANAGED

 Make regular routine checks of all equipment and unit to ensure that they
are functioning correctly in accordance with standard operating
procedure.

 Report all equipment and instrument defects and leaks immediately to my


executive engineer and take possible corrective action.

 Check and record in the plat log sheet each and every hour a variety of
reading such as oil and gas flow, temperature and pressure and record

 Assist in isolating draining, purging and handing over equipment for


maintenance on inspection and check the equipment for its correct
operations when the maintenance job is completed.

 Assist in carrying out the routine weekly run test of equipments like
emergency diesel generator, diesel and electrical fire pumps, etc.

 Collect oil, gas and water samples and measure that water cut in oil, salt
concentration in the produced water and pass the samples and laboratory
for analysis.

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE IN OFFSHORE RIG

 RIH/POOH of drill pipes for drilling [Work over/killing/packer


release/scrapping/fishing / all sizes of casings/ production down hole
assembly like packer & safety value / expansion joints/tubing hanger/ seal
assembly/ bridge plugs/ sliding sleeve/ side pocket/Whip stock/ mandrel
etc.
 Installation of wells heads, casing hangers etc.
 Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions, pumps and
drilling mud systems, and mix mud chemicals, cements and additives.
 Read gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and concentration and
adjust pumping procedure as required.
 Align and manipulate sections of pipe or drill stem from a platform on the
rig derrick during the removal and replacement of strings of pipe, or drill
stem and drill bit.
 Record mud flows and volumes and take samples.
 Monitor pit volumes.
 Servicing the mud pump and chemical pump.
 The check forklift and pre operation.
 Worked on mud pumps [National P 120, Oil Well 1700, Wirth]
 Shale shaker for Remove the cutting in drilling time.
 We are replacing the king copra & Amax screen and all type of Screen.

trees.
 Yearly one time changing the wash Pipe and monthly, we check the TDS
Oil level.
 Greasing the all moving equipment & crown sheaves and snatch Block.
 Worked in Manual Tongs [HT 100, HT 65] Power slips & Tongs, Iron
roughneck, Torque master, Eagle light, Pipe deck pipe handler, Pipe raking
system, Conover etc,
