Philosophy As an educator, it is my hope to give students a fun, creative, and memorable learning
experience that will serve them well for many years to come. I believe in making
learning interesting and thought-provoking for children, so that they may be fully
engaged in their school activities and strive to do their best. It is important to me that
students know they are cared for and deserve to be treated with respect. My ideal
classroom is one where students see this care and respect and treat others with care and
respect in kind. Students that are kind to each other and offer a helping hand when
needed are sure to succeed as outstanding citizens.

Was a member of National Honor Society, earned presidential award for community

Fourth grade final field placement and student teaching
- Worked in a diverse classroom environment and differentiated instruction to suit
learner’s needs
- Developed various classroom management techniques to help optimize a positive and
effective learning environment
- Taught material in both whole and small group settings, as well as working with
students on an individual basis to ensure learning opportunities for all students

Accomplishments
Earned a presidential award in high school for completing over 100 hours of community
service, with most of those hours having been earned working with children in Vacation
Bible School
