tmAsfera is a Ukrainian world music band, favourite and expected guest at a lot of European

festivals.
Their title contains two words in Sanskrit: “atma” which means “personality” and “sfera” is something
that surrounds it. In general the name describes something that surrounds the personality, its
external and internal world, as well as feelings. So, the Sanskrit: Atmasfera is the etymological root
of the English word: atmosphere.
Their styles are world and contemporary music (Integro album), combines the classical forms with
jazz improvisation, experiments with folk and ethnic motives of the world (Forgotten World album).
The creative path of AtmAsfera had started form art-rock style (To find album). The modern west
tendencies are organically added by ancient east motives and enriched by unique Ukrainian
colouring.
Atmasfera is distinguished by saturation and originality of their vocals: They have three vocalists.
By the quantity of the instruments used can compete the small orchestra. Besides the main
instruments such as flute, keyboard, mandolin, darbuka, guitar and bass guitar they use flutes,
percussion, chaims, trembita as well as other instruments from around the world.

2013[edit]
 In January-March the band was working on new material.
 April: concerts in Poland (Warszawa, Wrocław), organization and performance on eco-art
festival “ECONYAKA”, Lviv, UA.
 May: concerts in Ukraine (Donetsk, Zaporizzya (charity concert)) and Poland (Tarnobrzeg,
Kunice Gulianka); named the best music band in the American portal "MusicDiscoveries" of
2012
 June: concerts in Ukraine (Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Lviv (World Music Day, Fête de la
Musique, on the stage "Leopolis Gran Prix", festival of retro cars), the headliner of the festival
"Trypilske Kolo 2013. Water" (Rzhyschiv).
 July: concerts in Poland (Augustow, Wojciechow, Rodoszyce) and in Ukraine (festival
"Franko.Missia"2013), organization of the second Polish AtmaMusicCamp.

 January - "AtmAsfera" met New Year by giving a concert in Rzeszów (Rzeszów, Poland) on the

 January – participation in XIX Finals GOCC (The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity) in Torun
(Poland). GOCC is the famous in Poland and respected all over the world charity foundation
specialized on public health. The GOCC initiates the holding of charity events all over the
Poland for couple of years. The goal of the events is to collect money for hospital equipment as
well as holding the medical and educational programs. The GOCC is the organizer of
“Woodstock” festival, the biggest festival in the Europe. The cooperation between ‘AtmAsfera”
and GOCC is from 2006.
 February–March – presentation of Integro album in Kiev CKM NAU. Promo Integro-tour in
Ukraine was at Poltava, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Sevastopol, Lvov, Kiev, Lutsk.
 April - solo concerts in Poltava and Lvov, participation in the celebration of Earth Day in Kiev.
 May – participation in “ Lvov weather vane” festival and International festival “Europe center”
(Rakhiv); performances at the Romanian “Eco Art” festival and “Europa fest." Atmasfera was the
only Ukrainian band who represented Ukraine country at the “Europa-fest”. The festival was
organized by the Royal family.
 May–June - promo INTEGRO-tour in Poland': Lodz, Slawno, Koszalin, Bydgoszcz, Warszawa,

 December - performance at the ceremony of the final draw of the UEFA Euro2012 (Atmasfera-
the only Ukrainian band which was invited to Warsaw to represent Ukraine in this ceremony.
Performance in Brussels, party arranged by European Parliament due to 20 years of independence
of the Ukraine. Series of charity concerts in different cities of Ukraine.

 January - took part in "Kryla Nadii" festival, gave concert in Kraków (Poland), and HPI (Kharkiv)
 February - Performed in "Wspak" club in Kelce (Poland)
 March - Concerts in Odessa, Pivdenne, Tiraspol. Also gave big concerts in recreation center
"Koroliova" in Kiev
 April - AtmAsfera together with such bands as Skay and Nedilya performed at the charity party
as the part of the project (Give some joy to the child)
 May–September - Poland tour: Koszalin, Łęczna, Szczecin, Ostroda, Wąbrzeźno, Krynica,
Katowice, Torun, Gizycko, Ustka, Trzebiatow, Warsaw,
 June - laureate of „Folkowo” festival (Ostroda).
 July - Performance on "Trypilske kolo", as a headliner of the second day of the festival.
Participated in Anniversary 50th MoldeJazz-2010 festival (amongst the guests were such
performers as Herbie Hancock, Jeff Beck, Sonny Rollins, Bobby McFerrin, and others.

 February – concert in Uman city.
 April – concert in Lviv Musical Academy as well as performance at “Taste your mother tongue”
festival.
 May - "Latajacy Holender"-2009 festival (Warsaw, Poland).
 June - "Barren hills" festival (Russia).
AtmAsfera band got the prize of audience favor “Zloty Baczek” (Zolota Dzyga) as the best band of
folk stage performing at "Przystanek Woodstock 2008" festival, which enabled them to perform in
August for over 400.000 listeners.

 July - "Trypilske kolo" festival in Rzischev (Kiev region) and Lublin (Poland) – they performed at
the most prestigious city club - "Graffiti". Also they performed at such prestigious festivals as
Moldejazz and NGPrix (Norway).
 August – performance at the main stage of "Przystanek Woodstock 2009" festival together with
such grand bands as Guano Apes (Germany), Korpiklaani (Finland), Clawfinger (Sweden),
Dżem (Poland), Voovoo (Poland). Tour in Poland: Lublin, Zakopane, Zhezhuv, Vrotslav, Schetin,
Zhyvets, Krakiv.
 September - concerts in the Crimean cities of Alushta, Yalta, Simferopol and Sevastopol.
 October – concert at Zaporizzya club "Titan".
 December – concert at Palace of Culture of Kiev Polytechnic University, concert at “Tick-tuck”
store in Kiev.
2008[edit]
2008 started with a concert at Lviv Musical Academy and in January the band won the competition
of a wide chain of musical stores “Muztorg”.

 March – concert in Simferopol and performance at "Woma'n'roll fest" in Kiev,

 April – tour in Eastern Ukraine starting with the concert and musical-theatrical performance in
Kiev.
Then there were a few concerts at festivals in Warsaw ("Ethno Cross" and "Ursus"),

 May – concert in Lviv and concerts at City Day in Kiev.

 July – concert at "Dreamland" festival at Spivoche pole in Kiev "Trypilske kolo"
in Rzhyshchiv near Kyiv. Warsaw – performance at "II Praski Piknik Rowerowy” festival.
