Question: Regarding "What is the best time to give Elitmus Exam???"

Answer: Akhilesh Chandra Bhatt[3]November 10, 2013 at 6:31 PM Hi Vivek, As elitmus takes around 1 month to get you interview calls once you apply for the jobs, i would suggest you to give Elitmus exam somewhere Around April/May (your 8th Sem)... So that by the time your BE is complete you will get interview calls...so no waiting :)

I can't figure out which section you are talking about... so i will just answer about all sections :)
- Out of 20 if you are attempting 5-6 in QUANT with accuracy YOU WILL get 90+ percentile. - Out of 20 if you are attempting 5-6 in Reasoning with accuracy YOU WILL get 80+ percentile. - Out of 20 if you are attempting 5-6 in Verbal with accuracy YOU WILL get 40+ percentile.

But i want to know wats next step from here. How we apply 2 companies. ..? I mean on its(elitmus)website we see the event date and last apply date...we apply it... no calls watsoever.. thaaah... date is gone...and again a new company ... same cycle.. Do we need to go to bangaloree to company place or we need to wait for the interview calls? plzzz help in "how to apply" section too !! Answer: Grtt job... Congrats :)
and... the process is same... Keep applying for jobs on elitmus... and After a month or so.... you will start getting interview calls...!!
And regarding "Effect of city/place"... i am not sure but.. if you are in Banglore.... your chances for getting calls get increased, coz you must have observed "Interview Location" has always(99%) "Banglore" as Location... but other cities keep varying from Company to Company.... And this is because nearly every company hiring from Elitmus is Banglore Based...!!

Better you don't go down that road...(TukkaBaaji/Guessing... ain't gonna workout here) prepare Few topics.. but prepare them so strong that.. you don't miss any question appearing in elitmus.

And regarding applying for jobs outside Elitmus, Its always good to "Mention your pHScore" in Resume... coz for sure... it will increase your weightage....AND there are some companies which consider pH Score as one of their selection criteria... So Bindaasss.... Put your score on Resume...
About recruitment from microsoft, adobe... Keep checking their websites... Coz Most Renowned Companies... hire final year students as INTERN... Which in turn...ends up in full time employment...

BUT if you still want to go for 99+ percentile.. You can try these things: - Make sure you are scoring 99+ percentile in Verbal(i.e. 140+ score) - Try to get 90+ percentile in both quant and reasoning - Speed and Accuracy will be key in getting such high score so "Practice as much as you can" - Do "Selective Study" i.e. Select certain topics from Quant which in total can get you a score of 90+ and get mastery in those section so that you don't miss a question from them in exam. Same for reasoning too... Preparing Everything... never gonna work... soooo.....Prepare Smartly... :) Best Wishes :)(:

Let me simplify this for you as per my understanding(though i am not the one deciding how percentile score is calculated at Elitmus): - quant 20+ marks >> 50+ percentile - reasoning 50+ marks >> 80+ percentile - verbal 100+ marks >>. 90+ percentile
so ---->>"at overall score 170+ can get you 85+ percentile" and ----->> Marks in quant and reasoning has Higher VALUE then in verbal..!!!!
so those who get 95+ are the ones scoring good in Quant+Reasoning and Very Good in Verbal.... and those who are getting around 80+ are the ones scroing OK in all three OR Good in Quant+Reasoing But BAD at verbal OR Bad in quant+reasoing and Very Good in Verbal.
Hope you get little idea about percentile now :)

Rest regarding giving another try...If you believe that you can do better than this...( more than 88 ) in next attempt..than... you can go for it.... :) as having score above 90 percentile(with throughout percentile of 65+ above) increases your chances.
(Remember...a score of 80-85 percentile THROUGHOUT is far better than a score of 90
above percentile with having any section with percentile less than 50) Best wishes :)
