How much y How many nicamente se utilizan en la forma interrogativa, y las


reglas son:

1.- How many? lo empleas para preguntar acerca de sustantivos contables.

How many cups of coffee do you drink a day? (Cuntas tazas de caf
tomas al da?)
How many pants did you buy in the last sale? (Cuntos pantalones
compraste en la ltima venta especial?)
How many apples are there in the fruit bowl? (Cuntas manzanas hay en
el frutero?)
How many pictures did you take last summer? (Cuntas fotos tomaste el
verano pasado?)

Si observas bien, el sustantivo contable est siempre en plural: cups, pants,


apples, pictures.

2.- How much? lo empleas para preguntar acerca de sustantivos incontables.

How much coffee do you drink in the morning? (Cunto caf tomas por
la maana?)
How much wine did France produce last year? (Cunto vino produjo
Francia el ao pasado?)
