Digital Subtraction Angiography of Brain

Digital subtraction angiography of the brain is a procedure used to identify abnormalities in the brain's blood vessels that have caused a stroke or may cause one in the future. Potential risks include bleeding in the brain or blood vessels, stroke, seizures, infection, kidney or heart failure, or death in severe cases, all of which can occur during or after the procedure. While MRI angiography provides some information, it is not as detailed as digital subtraction angiography.
