The document discusses Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift's speech in 2009 and how it represented Kanye expressing himself creatively despite repercussions. It says many people grow up repressed and Kanye was letting his emotions out through his actions. It argues that if Kanye didn't act on his feelings, he wouldn't have made successful albums and people should make art instead of just living routine lives.

You people in the comments are completely missing what Kanye is getting at.

Yeah
he's a bit faded in the vid, but he's getting
at how many people grow up very fucking repressed. Whether it be by the governm
ent, by society, by religion, by parents, or
whatever. And when you have these forces working against you, it is hard to tru
ly express yourself and be creative and create
real art. When he walked up and interrupted Taylor Swift's speech 6 years ago,
that is not unlike when I feel inspired and
pick up a guitar and make a new song. Yeah, to the outsider he looks like a com
plete asshole with no respect for anyone else,
but he was expressing himself and letting his emotions go. And he addresses the
repercussions of that a bit, and how he's
still paying for it at times. But if he didn't act on what he felt, he wouldn't
have made College Dropout, or Twisted Fantasy.
I think that is what he is really trying to say. The fact that so many of you c
an't grasp that just proves to me that most
people really do not take the time to get in touch with their creative side. So
many people just eat, sleep, work, fuck, die
and create kids that do the same fucking thing. Fuck that. Make art. Life is too
fucking short not to.
