Select one area of improvement listed above and answer the following questions (in detail)
based on the topic. In order for the topic to work as a research project, the answers to each
question must be yes, followed by an explanation for why the answer is yes. If after
reviewing the questions in relation to your topic you realize that not all questions can be
answered in the affirmative, select another topic.
1. Is conducting research to address the area of improvement practical? Will your research
lead to positive personal change?
Yes, researching any one of these areas of improvement is practical. I choose to look
more into working on my verbal communication skills. It does not cost anything to
practice speaking properly even under stressful situations like interviews. This will
definitely lead to a positive personal change.
2. Can you find enough information from authoritative references (research literature,
books, government reports, etc..) through Techs online library or a web search to
sufficiently research your topic? You should list at least 3 authoritative references that are
relevant to your topic in the response to this question.
Yes I believe that I can find plenty of authoritative references. There are so many things
out there I can use to help me out in this particular area of improvement. I can use any
search engine online, I can use Techs library, and I can use books on the topic of
effective communication.
