Goal of the lesson: To teach the students the basic fundamentals of throwing and catching.
Developmental characteristics of students:
-Students may still be growing and experience bodily changes.
-Students may desperately need outdoor time and physical challenge.
-Students may be less absolute with their reasoning.
-Students may have specialized interests.
-Students may seek peer acceptance more than others.
Instructional Objectives:
Psychomotor:
-Students will be able to properly display the fundamentals of throwing 80% of the time during the activities provided.
-Students will be able to properly display the fundamentals of catching 80% of the time during the activities provided.
Cognitive
-Students will be able to list the basic steps of throwing and catching 90% of the time.
-Students will be able to explain why it is important to step with the opposite foot while throwing 90% of the time.
Affective
-Students will be able to work together in groups to perform the task 100% of the time.

             hear the music begin. Once the teacher starts

             feet. While the music is stopped, the teacher

             should add more claps and so on and so forth.

             the students catching skills. When the music
             stops for the last time, the students will put
             their balls back in the bin and return to the
             middle of the gym. The teacher will then
             explain Pin Ball.
