                                    The four processes of digestion are ingestion, digestion, absorption and
                                    elimination. Ingestion is the process where food is taken into the alimentary
                                    canal. Digestion is the process where the ingested food is broken down into

                                    components/chemicals from food are taken into the cells of the body while
                                    Elimination is the process of removing undigested food and other waste from
                                    the body.
