FTTx Cabling Products
Selection of an appropriate FTTx cable requires a review of design parameters, future growth needs, mapping layout and history. If this FTTx network
will be a transition from HFC, products like CommScopes E2O HFC transition cable can help. If space is tight, microducts and jetted microcable can
provide maximum capacity in a small space. If future needs arent known, additional microducts in CIC can be used to ease future construction.
Drop and premise applications require flexible low count cables with easy termination features. They also must be robust for the environment.
CommScope offers a variety of cables for outdoor, aerial, underground, conduit and premise installation challenges. In MDU or commercial
environments, CommScope premise distribution cables are available in riser, plenum and LSZH versions to satisfy local code requirements.
