Wacky Festivals Lesson Plan for A1 Class

The lesson plan aims to teach 11-year-olds about different festivals around the world through reading, listening, speaking, and writing activities. It will begin with a warm-up to elicit students' prior knowledge of festivals. Students will then read and listen about various festivals, learning new vocabulary and possessive pronouns. They will practice using the target language through exercises filling in tables and completing sentences. To conclude, students will copy and complete their own information tables and have a speaking activity telling facts about their partner's family and friends using possessive pronouns.
