brought you Alan Wake.
However, Quantum Break,

brilliant ideas, remains in
the same domain; only ideas.

their promise. Blurring the
lines between games and live

And the developers have put in real effort

in the detailing. Like the blood sprays or
a cup of coffee hitting the ground, etc. It
looks pretty amazing.
The performances by the actors are at
par. Aiden Gillen sidles right into the skin
of Paul Serene and Shawn Ashmore does a
pretty good job too. So where does all of
it go wrong? Well, buckle up for the ride.
To start with, the characters seem
pretty hollow and you just cant connect
with them for some reason. A live action
TV show was supposed to help in
developing these characters further, but
nothing as of yet. On the contrary, it has
achieved the exact opposite. Talk about
irony. Also, in a country where you have
rickety internet speeds, bandwidth issues
and power cuts, its a real pain to stream
these episodes from Microsofts servers.

On a personal note, I tried

this on a PC and not a
console, so maybe it works
great on consoles. But
for PC users, this is
another example of a
horrible port. The game i
tself is riddled with a
number of bugs. Apart
from that, it has issues
larger than your ex. The
frame rate drops
suddenly, grainy video
quality, inability to play at
1080p because the frame
rate drops below 10 FPS
if you do so.
However, I did complete
the game.
I would rate this game
at a 4 or a max of 4.5 out
of 10. I wont recommend
this game to anyone but I
choose to warn people. If
you still feel like playing
it, good luck!

Marvel Heroes just had a
content update coinciding with
the release of Captain
America: Civil War. Throughout
the month of May, they have
rolled out over ten different,
unique costumes like Captain
America, Iron Man, Ant-Man,
Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch,
Hawkeye, Black Panther, War
Machine, Black Widow and
Spider-Man. In addition to that,
there is a new two team-up
between Agent 13 and Falcon.
And the list goes on. We get to
see a themed tournament and
a game-play overhaul with
scenarios that include Team
Cap or Team Iron Man.
Jeff Lind (COO, Gazillion) was
extremely happy with this new
update as it brings out more
of the Marvel Universe for the
players. He said, quote,

Back in June 2013, after completing the final boss of a game,

I was lost in doubt.
Doubt of what exactly was I feeling.
I wasnt happy, I wasnt sad, and 3 years down the line,
I still cant figure out what exactly it was.
All I know is that I was completely blown away by the game.
Of all the games I have played, that one was the best ever!
A brief summary of the
story is that a virus breaks
out which turns humans
into zombies. The game
refers to them as clickers.

of the population is wiped
out, Joel is set with a task;
a task that could possibly
result in death.

Add-on DLC, Left Behind,

was worth it.

The game cant be put into
one genre as such. Its got
Action, Adventure,
Survival, and Horror in the
perfect combination. Now
when I say Horror, dont
confuse it with scary
characters or paranormal
stuff. Although it does have
some jump scares, its more
horrifying to see the actions
and choices which we or
the other
characters make through
the game. The extent to
which human psyche can
be twisted and broken down
to; kind of Shakespearian in
a way.
You can see YouTube
reaction videos, but I
strongly advice against it
if you havent played the
game yet.

If you happen to own a PS3

or a PS4, do try out this game.
The PS4 re-mastered version
comes bundled with the
DLC. Dont, for any reason,
miss out on this game. Its
an absolute thrill and pretty
cinematic experience.

The next One Piece

movie is on its way! Oi
Minna! Ikuzo! And thats
the extent of my Japanese
linguistic skills.
Considering the success of
the last One Piece film, One
Piece Z, the expectation
riding on this instalment are
pretty high. Now there are
speculations that the film is
based on Gol. D. Roger, the
legendary Pirate King. In
that case, this is something
that the fans have wanted
for a really long time. Also,
since the last two movies
were about other legends

like Golden Lion Shiki and

Zephyr, it would only make
sense to bring Roger into
the picture. There is still so
much we dont know about
him. Eiichiro Oda, the
original manga creator, steps
in as the films
executive producer. The
direction will be done by
Hiraoki Miyamoto, the
Assistant Director of One
Piece: Baron Omatsuki and
the Secret Island.
Japan will see the release
on July 23rd (so you know
when to hit the torrents).

Nathan Drake is now a retired treasure hunter.

He now spends his days salvaging various things

for different companies. And when he is not
technically three, but yeah, whatever.
doing that, he spends his time with Elena, now
his wife, playing video games and doing dishes.
I was logged in and playing this masterpiece for But when Nates long lost elder brother Sam

somewhere in the midst. Hooray for me, I made Nathan Drake is a sucker for adventure.
it out alive.
After waiting for nearly 3 years, facing numerous
delays, I got the Uncharted Game in my hand. I
realised that I was never going to wait for
another Uncharted game again. I would never be
playing a next Uncharted game. So, I
decided to soak every goddamn minute of the
game. And boy did I soak in it.

One thing that you absolutely cannot argue about

is the graphics. OMG! (Im so breathless; I cant
even say the words) This is without a doubt the
prettiest game I have ever seen. From Italy to
Scotland to Madagascar everything is simply
beautiful.

No game in 2016 should be

locked to 30FPS, especially
with the power of the PS4. But I
would take a stable frame rate
over lagging, bug ridden game
any day (Throwing glances at
Quantum Break.). The chase
scenes are truly spectacular
and easily top the Train
Sequence from Uncharted 2.
The story was where I was a
little afraid. A year back, Amy
Hennig, the main writer and
the brains behind this game,
left ND for Visceral Games.
Subsequently, the duties were
handed to Neil Druckmann and
Bruce Straley (The last of Us).
Although, The Last of Us is an
amazing game with a brilliant
story, I was worried
whether they would be able to
capture the essence of the
previous three games of this
franchise. So let me tell you,

The devil is in the details, the small

details; like the footprints in the
snow, the small snowflakes settling
in your hair, the clothes when they
get wet and dry out slowly over
time. It is the minute little things
that makes this game what it is.
It is a testament to Naughty Dog,
the developer, and the fact that
you can purchase any game made
by them and it will turn out to be
good. One thing, if I have to call is
a small nit-pick, is that the frame
rate is locked to 30FPS.

I have been cleansed of all my

doubts!
Perhaps the longest game from

the Uncharted Franchise, I found

it a bit exhausting. Especially
the middle chapters, the
pacing kind of lost footing.
However, it soon improved
again. Also, I found myself
dying quite often even on
Normal mode. So a word of
caution. The characters were
given plenty to do. Nate (played
by Nolan North) is just the
wiseass you knew he was.
Elena (played by Emily Rose) is
like the third bed from
Goldilocks, just right. Sam, the
new character, (Troy Baker, as
marvellous as ever) is similar to
Nathan Drake but with more of
the quips and knowledge. They
play off of each other
perfectly. Also Rafe (Warren
Kole) and Nadine Ross (Laura
Bailey) are where they should
be. But the show stealer is
without a doubt, Victor Sully
Sullivan played by the
effervescent Richard
McGonagall. His character
design is also drastically
improved over the previous
three games.
