Returns management project is to bring in the functionality of
initiating and tracking Returns on Orders from MCOM, BCOM and
MSA using the Order Management Services offered by SDP.
After the initial call to MCCS, allow the customer to navigate the
virtual return flow via SITE so they can submit their own return,
print their return label, and check on the status of the return
without having to call MCCS for updates. Also, inform and
remind the customer of the status of their return via emails to
the customer.

Designing and developing the different modules as per
client requirements.
Modify 2 existing pages - Order History and Order Details.
Here functionality to Initiate Return on an order, print
shipping label and Track initiated returns will be
implemented.
Add 3 new pages [Selection/Submit/Confirmation] - these
are 3 progressive pages to attain the functionality of
Initiating new Returns and Generating the Shipping Label.
All new returns initiated from MCOM/BCOM/MSA will be
persisted on Site Database
Provide more customer-friendly UI for returns on order
history, details, Return pages
SDP will interact directly with UPS services to get tracking
data
Batch job to use Quantum View API from UPS to get
Return Shipment Status while in transit , until delivered
and feed it in Site DB
Implementing Sync logic on SDP to provide users with the
latest possible status on their returns [when the OH/OD
pages load].
1 new email (OES implementation) to communicate to the
users that their return has been submitted successfully
from the site.
Enable user following functionality
Return Items under an order (once they are shipped)
Track the returns
Print labels for return shipments.
