Background of the Project:

The Soon Valley or Soon Sakesar is located in Khushab District
The Soon Valley starts from Padhrar village and ends in Sakesar which is the highest
peak of Salt Range. Sakesar is 5010 feet above sea level. The Soon Valley is situated
in the north west of Khushab district. The length of Soon Valley is 35 miles and average
width is 09 miles. There are some special features of this valley that distinguish it from
other areas, witout knowing about them it is very hard to understand its importance.
Chitta, Sabhral, Khoora, Nowshera, Kufri, Anga, Ugali, Mardwal, Dhadhar, Uchali and
Bagh Shams-ud-Din are important towns in soon valley. Kanhatti Garden, Sodhi
Garden, Da'ep and Sakesar are resorts to visit. Awan tribe is settled in Soon Valley.
Well known personalities like late literary giant Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi and columnist
Abdul Qadir Hassan, prominent scholar Syed Ahmad Saeed Hamadani, scholar and
poet, Iqbal Dost from Khabakki who is well known at home and abroad due to his many
books including Jam-e-Khudi and Aap-ke-Naam, and for his English Poems in UK.
World renowned Dr. Ghaus Malik neurosurgen USA from Sabhral also belong to this
land.
There are many well-renowned places Uchalli Lake, Khabikki Lake, Jahlar Lake, Dep Sharif
Chashma and Kanhatti Gardens.
Reason of Selection:
A resort is a place used for relaxation or recreation, attracting visitors for vacations
and/or tourism. Resorts are places, towns or sometimes commercial establishment
operated by a single company.
In North American English, the term "resort" is now also used for a self-contained
commercial establishment which attempts to provide for most of a vacationer's wants
while remaining on the premises, such as food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment,
and shopping. The term may be used to identify a hotel property that provides an array
of amenities and typically includes entertainment and recreational activities. A hotel is
frequently a central feature of a resort, such as the Grand Hotel at Mackinac Island,
Michigan. A resort is not always a commercial establishment operated by a single
company, although in the late twentieth century this sort of facility became more
common.
Towns which are resorts or where tourism or vacationing is a major part of the local
activity are sometimes called resort towns. If they are by the sea they are called
seaside resorts. Inland resorts include ski resorts, mountain resorts and spa towns.
Towns such as Sochi in Russia, Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt, Barizo in Spain, Cortina
d'Ampezzo in Italy, Druskininkai in Lithuania, Cancn in Mexico, Newport, Rhode Island,
in the USA, Ischgl in Austria, St. Moritz in Switzerland, Blackpool in England and Malam
Jabba in Pakistan are well-known resorts.
Objectives:
The project is the starting a business of Tourist Resort at the bank of Khabiki Lake on
the locational of Soon Valley. The resort should provide the these facilities
Provide five secondary recreation/leisure/entertainment experiences
Provide one full-service food & beverage outlet
Bed-base must include short-term or overnight lodging
Minimum of 15 rooms or other accommodations (exception to minimum for

With two signature amenity/anchor attributes)
Emphasize a leisure or retreat-environment experience
This project should purposed these facilities it will have restaurant, multipurpose hall,
Lodging suites, history Museum, Small Library, arts and crafts outlets performance
space etc. Besides this, it will have services like Parking, Receptions, Tourist
Information Centre, and recreational spaces like Swimming Pool, Mini Golf Course,
Tennis, Natural as well as artificial landscapes and Space for Artists, Writers ,open air
theatre ,zoo , Water games, Fishing activities.
Core Work:
Selection of the suitable site for the resort around the lake.
Provision of recreational environment for the resort through varieties of
recreational and functional facilities.
