7 IDES INSTALLATION

System Requirements:

1. 512MB RAM

2. 80GB HDD

3. P4,PROCESSOR MIN 2.4GHZ

Operating System:

Windows 2000 server, Windows 2003 server.

O.S INSTALLATION:

Before O.S. Installation:

If 80GB HDD means particioned C (11GB)& D(balance)Drives,because it will

occupy 55GB for SAP Installation.Then particioned by NTFS mode, Then specify
that System name Below 10 characters.

After O.S. Installation:

First we will log on Administrator for user,but no passward, Then we entered O.S and
my computer,but we get only one drive C,so we particions other Drive like D,Put
cursor (mouse) on my computer icon,Right clckManage,Then we’ll enter
Computer management,then goto below Disk management click that, we’ll get it,here
we see C drive, we have to change that next drive put extened particion its name
D,then particioned by Quice mode.
Now we get to drives,then start that SAP INSTALLATION, First we creat two users
where in computer management,Go to same thing above way for Disk management.
Press Local users,then we get right side users & group,we put cursor on user Right
click we get new users Put enter there

Where: User name:RGSADM

Full name :SAPADMIN

Description:SAPADMIN

Passward:sap(small letters for all entries)

Conformpassward:sap ,Then put tick mark Passward Never expires

options,Then click Creat button. Next we creat secnd user,This is also same above
as.but where,

User name:SAPServiceRGS

Full name :SAPSERVICES

Description:SAPSERVICES

Passward:sap

Conformpassward:sap ,Others same as above.

Now we sets Properties of these two users.

Go to computer managementlocalusers,Group users, we see created

user(RGSADM,SAPServiceRGS), Now put cursor on RGSDM,

RightclickPROPERTIESMEMBEROFADDADVACEDFINDNOW
O.KO.KAPPLY., next we set for SAPServiceRGS, as above same way.

Now we created two users,we check that user entry.GO To Log of

(Administrator)system then enter where

User:RGSADM,Passward:sap(small letters),then we’llbe logged on this user id.

Samething we checks for another user(SAPServiceRGS). We install SAP, use any one
user entry (like RGSADM or SAPServiceRGS).

(SAP Installation only choosing any one user,not Administrator entry)

Now we entered User:RGSADM,Passward:sap

SET VIRTUAL MEMORY:

Now we entered RGSADM user,Then Right click on Mycomputer  Properties

AdvancedPerformancesettingAdvancedlast virtual memory Change

From here we have to change custom size for c-drive, put there Initial size is
1024,Maximum size is 2048,this for 512RAM,if our system has 1GB RAM means
Initial size is 2048,Maximum is 4096. Then press near SET button,then give
Apply,this is must.

SET LOOP BACK ADAPTER:

Now we set loop back adapter Go to StartSettingControl panelAdd Hardware

Nextput I have already connected hardwareNextBelow side Add a new
hardware deviceNextNextSelect Network AdapterNextNextFinish.

Change that system date Afer 2 or 3 yrs Example (Nov 2008)

Restart that system now.enter O.S log on same username:RGSADM,passward:sap.

ORACLE INSTALLATION:

Now insert DVD3(its contains Oracle,Gui,java,Kernal), then press ORACLENT

I386SAPSERVER.CMD(above that setup 8),its will display default soure from cd
drive,destination drive where u want install SAP,Otherwise change that drive(where u
want install SAP),Next, then it will install automatically. After completion its asks
perform typical configuration(put tick)Finish,then it will leave automatically.now
we stop that oracle services immeadiate,same way when create partion or create user
screen Go to Computer Management below there ServicesRightside search Oracle
services Rightclick stop that each every oracle service stopped.

PATCHES APPLY:

After stopped oracle services then Goto DVD3 ORACLENTI386PATCHES

2ZIPFILES2nd ZIP File Extract browse where Installed oracleDoracle
ora81.Unzip then it will dispay unzipped successfully.

Press Close,Restart that system.

JAVA INSTALLATION

Press javasetup (j2sdk_4,second one brown colour),then it’ll run then press Next
Yes(create directry for java in cdrive)NextNextNextFinish.

Then goto CdriveProgrm file java(j2se1 something)EnterJava(jask-1),top

that Address flow press copy that(C\programfile\java\java),Then goto press Right
click MycomputerPropertiesAdvncedEnvironment variable there we set user
variables.

Where User name:JAVA_HOME,variable value:press paste(C:\Promfiles\java\j2se1).

After then Goto DVD copy the the folder KERNAL47old and paste in c-drive inside

Then restart the system.

KERNAL BASIS INSTALLATION(CENTRAL INSTANCE INSTALLATION):

Goto C-drive click KERNALSAPNTNTSETUP,it’ll run,I agree,Click standard

installation o.k,Reboot Now o.k,theno.k, It’ll restart and run
automatically,Again started Kernal Automatically, we put SAP 4.7 ORACLE
INSTALLATION I Agree, Install server component  Nextsystemid:RGS,put
CENTRAL INSTANCES(Tick mark)Instance no.00 (Default),Next Next Put
LOCAL INSTALLATION,NextSpecify Drive where we wants install SAP(Remind
we installed Oracle there,specfy this Drive)Enter PASSWARD:sap(small
letters,where we have given already) 2timesAgain enter PasswardNext.,then
kernel install automatically.it’ll finish few minitutes.we’ll get INSTALLATION
FINISHED SUCESSFULLY Click O.K, then screens will leave automatically.

Now we copy that DATA files likes DB1,DB2,DB3,Its all in DVDS, we copy that
files to our hard disks based on memory space ofour harddisk(keep it data files on
kept on each drives for example our Harddisk(80GB) contains C-drive(11GB),D-
drive(66GB),put Data files DB1 in c-drive,DB2,DB3 ind-drive), Note:keep not less
than 55GB in D-drive,we can’t install SAP.

Now we copied that all Data files in our HDD,Then next Go to STARTPROGRAM
SAPINST.KERNAL ORACLEPREPARE NEW INSTALLATION,click that it’ll
open & leave immediately,Then we restart that system.

SAP DBA (DATA BASE INSTALLATION):

Now We install Database installation,Goto,and click

STARTPROGRAMSAPinst ORACLE KERNAL SAPinst SERVER WITH

GUI

Then it’ll start automatically,and samething kernel installation,we put SAP 4.7
ORACLE INSTALLATION I AGREE Install server component, put Next
systemid:RGS,put DATABASE INSTALLATION(Tick mark)Install (first)SAP
system into a New database,NextNext Instance no.00 (Default),Next Local
Installation,NextNextDrive for Database location,(example:D-drive,must its
contains 55GB),put there again,nextPassward:sap,put four columnsNext Next
Nextit’ll ask DB1,click that package location,then put DB1,where we stored in
drives,then O.KNext NextThen it’ll ask other data files like Export 2 ToExport
7,its all in DB2,DB3,samething ,Browse that give that location()STARTIt’ll ask
SUPPORT MNLS,put here continue ,Then O.K.,Installation will start.

Now started SAP DBA,then it’ll take finish that installation maximum 9hrs,this is
based on our system configuration, we were installed anything before,it’ll give Error,
After that Support Mnls stage installation will come,from here we put Continue
Support MNLS,then o.k,Finally we get Installation Finished suceessfully 
O.K.,Screens will leave automatically,then Press That SAPMANAGEMENT
CONSOLE(SERVER) icon from Destop,we get lefthand side SAP R/3 ,Right click
here Put START or All task START, It’ll start immediately(STARTED POSTION
COLOUR -GREEN),Because nowonly finished SAPDBA INSTALLATION,Now
same again Right click here Put STOP,wait for few mins,then it’ll get stopped(now its
in whiten colour).Now We finished SAP BACK END INSTALLATION.

Now Restart the system.(Note:when SAPDBA Installation finished,don’t shutdown

that system immediately,follow that above Sap managementconsole(server) is
running,keep it stop,then only restart system )

SAP FRONT END(GUI) INSTALLATION:

Goto GUI6.40GUIWINDOWSWIN32SETUP, Click that Setup,it’ll run

automatically,Then Put NextNext put Right side select all(its tick mark
automatically),Next InstallFinish,installation going and finish a few ministutes
finish,we get sap logon logo from desktop,Now click that sap logon

We get SAP gui screen as below same,Then

Click New item on SAP gui pad,then we get,

Now enter there, Description: Anything

Application Server:(Hostname)

System id: RGS

System Number:00,Then add

Now we get below

Now Restart system,Then now we start server(SAP MANAGEMENT

CONSOLE),Double click on server icon,

we get below sceen

now click start button on that tool bar

Now server started automatically as below(yellow then Green),

we check that server started position,Double click below WP TABLE,we get Right
side

As referred above server is running position,how server started position means

STATUS all areWAIT position,START position is YES, It’ll few minitutes,otherwise
press refresh button on Top,its maybe started quickly.the required position is
below,Then we put Logon SAP.

Now press SAP logon Pad,Then press LOGON Button,

USER AUTHERISITION:

Now we do user autherisition

we get below screen

Now we do User Autherisition,client configuration,for fresh installation,First we

logon CLIENT : 000, USER:SAP*,PASSWARD:06071992.press enter,we get

we get copy right screen,

press Enter,we get

SYSTEM INSTALLATION CHECK:

Then we check installation any Error in that here,we put TRANCATION CODE in
common field, SICK,then press enter,

we get if No error Occurred means

Then we put T.CODE : SE06,But before enter: /n That is (/nse06)

We get screen,then doubleclick on PERFORM POST INSTALLATION ACTIONS

It asks Single system settings set, YES

Now enter T.CODE : /nstms,It will ask save,

Press save,we get below screen,Then we enter T.CODE : /nsu01

we put there sap user,Then click creat(F8) button on Application tool bar

we enter there sapuser as above same,Then press LOGONDATA,type there

passward:123,again,Then press profile

we get below screen,then click Right link

we get below screen,then scroll below we get SAP_ALL,press enter,again press enter

it will become below screen,then same as other SAP_NEW,A_ANZEIGE

We get finally

Then press save button on Application Tool bar

it was saved,Now we goto SYSTEMLOGOFF,it’ll leave completly

CLIENT AUTHERISITION:

First we logon SAP LOGON PAD on Destop

Then enter
CLIENT:800,USER:SAPUSER,PASSWARD:06071992, This is
same as user autherisition

we get COPY RIGHT screen,then SAP MAIN MENU,we do

Then enter,we get

Then enter T.CODE :SU01,

Then we get

we put there sap user,Then click creat(F8) button on Application tool bar

we enter there sapuser as above same,Then press LOGONDATA,type there

passward:123,again,Then press profile

we get below screen,then click Right link

we get below screen,then scroll below we get SAP_ALL,press enter,again press enter

it will become below screen,then same as other SAP_NEW,A_ANZEIGE

We get finally

Then press save button on Application Tool bar

it was saved,Now we goto SYSTEMLOGOFF,it’ll leave completly

Now we logon SAP,PUT there CLIENT:800,USER:SAPUSER,PASSWARD:123,

Then enter,it will ask NEW PASSWARD

We enter new passward(whatever passward,this is only we regularly),Then press

enter,we get below screen or otherwise,it’ll go direcly SAP MAIN MENU

Now we do developer autherisition,we enter T.CODE: se38

we get below

we creat Program now,we give program name for Example program name:zmail

(program begin start Y to Z only),it will ask ACCESS KEY,

WE PUT KEY NO:36687663221261278694.

Now we got program screen,if we want more than client means we can creat another
client same as above :

We finished SAP INSTALLATION.

NOTES:

Whenever we want work sap,first we start SAP MANAGEMENTCONSOLE

(SERVER) (procedure ways as shown above),From there WP tables status and start
are must that position: Right side STATUS: WAIT, START:YES,

Then we start sap logon.

As that whenever we shut down that system,before we logged off logon ,then stopped
that SAP MANAGEMENTCONSOLE(SERVER),it will take some time for stopped
its process That time STATUS: RUN,START: NO, Then we close server screen it’ll
ask SAVE THE CONSOLE OF SAPMMCONSOLE ,ANY TIME WE GIVE NO
ONLY,Then it will automatically,Then only we shutdown that system.

ALL THE BEST.
