--1. a) What are the major limitations of finite element methods? And explain them with the
suitable examples.
b) Compare and contrast the finite element method with control volume method for
solving the boundary value problems.

b) Define and describe the shape functions. Explain different characteristics of shape
functions.

b) Geometric Non-linearity
c) Eigen values and Eigen Vector.
